The tribes of the tree fight and defeat the Tribe Chiwa, bringing peace to the land. Ossa continues to help support the tribes damaged in the war, being a light to the path of peace for the tribes. The tribes Who helped the Chiwa seek redemption and join to help bring peace back to the lands while some gripe and murmur about these new changes and still follow the ways of the Chiwa seeking to reclaim the lands they have conquered when tribes start to lose themselves into greed and fight one among another will the three remaining tribes loyal to the Way of The Peaceful ones, Rise and Fight to bring peace to the land? Or will they fall?
Tribe of Ossa realm of Skeletor Council room.
"We Cannot In good conscience Cornum Do that! We swore we would not bring the people back into war!" Said Barsus.
Barsus was what some could call the meanest, kindest son of an ox you could ever meet. He was, in a sense, kind and gentle, but, when necessary, mean and scary as a charging ox, horns and all at you, ready to crush you.
Cornum pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed.
"My friends, please," Cornum said, looking around the table.
"We need to; we must, must at all costs gather the people and take control of our peninsula and protect the northern borders," Cornum said in a firm yet desperate tone.
The members of the court whispered to one another in discussion until all was silenced. One council member, King Orion of Trimania, rose and spoke calmly.
"We will take a vote upon it, corneum, tomorrow. If that may suffice to see, we all do have a lot to think about, do we not?"
The other council members agreed.
Cornum, reluctant but understanding, shook his head in an accepting nod.
He sat back down as the rest of the council members and kings from the other tribes slowly, one by one, left.
The whirling of the wind swishing the windowsill against the wall with a *tap* *tap* *tap*
It went on for a long 2 hours while Cornum sat in thought by the fire. How do I convince them...
That was one of many questions swirling through his mind: How does he convince them of the obvious and soon-to-be incoming threat?
This is his home, his people's land. He is their king. He must protect them and what he has, especially that.
Now, most would assume his money and castles and forts and his properties as nice as that can be a luxury to said person for these things are temporary and replaceable. It's also a pain in the neck, and neither what one can consider important for these are, again, merely temporary. No, no, to Cornum, what was important was his people and their well-being and, most of all, His family.
Now, most were surprised when Cornum was crowned king of Ossa at the young age of 15. After all, he was just a boy, and one would assume such a boy of his age would be immature to rule.
They were right.
He wasn't all that smart, nor was he interested in kingly duties. He was like any other teenage boy.. well, some. Cornum would flirt with the kingdom's females and was known to even run out of the Peace ceremonies held in the Temple to go horseback riding with his friends in the fields,s, jesting all day and night.
Peace ceremonies were held to thank the all-knowing ones above. The all-knowing ones were the first council made of celestial beings who formed the knights of peace and helped create the very lands they now live on. The Knights of Peace were formed of a small sum of 7-13 Knights known to be humble, brave, and caring. Who kept the peace among the people and would stop crime among the lands. It has been over 8 centuries since then, and the All-knowing ones and the Knights of Peace became a myth to the people, but many still believed the stories to be true and that the Knights of Peace would be reformed again one day. Of course, no one has because it's considered a very sacred idea and dream and would not be recognized unless the Sword Of the Sacred One was found.
The sword of the sacred one was the sword that belonged to the Head of the All-Knowing One Council, and It was gifted to Knight Declan.
Declan was considered the best of the Knights of Peace. He helped form Ossa, making Ossa the oldest of the Tribes and Declan, the first king of Ossa, though this has not been confirmed with evidence as far as most currently know.
Nevertheless, Cornum was a Rambunctious teen and caused a lot of trouble. That was until he met Jacky.
Jacky was a farm girl who lived with her family, helped tend to the sheep, and was obedient. She was kind and.. well, everything corneum wasn't.
He felt intrigued by her and although the first meeting didn't go as planned and they didn't get along at first and fought constantly they eventually became friends and from that husband and wife and king and queen even though scorned for staining royal blood corneum politely told them to go to the coasts of Ossa and Pound Sand, After that Cornum straightened out after the incident and became a loved king and a respected one as that among the people and more so among the other tribes and Jacky a respected queen eventually respected for her humbleness and knowledge.
Alas, that didn't stay that way for long for the tribes fell into disorder and that left the 3 Tribes of Olives As they referred to themselves, to fend off the darkness that plagued their lands while the other tribes either remained afraid and neutral against the three kings of the north and the said three tribes formed their own religions and set of government to establish rule over the lands they annex.
Cornum instead joined the Tribe of Olives Seeing that Ossa Should Not Have to Be Plagued with the Inequities of the other tribes.
So here he is, with a difficult council. A difficult time and difficult situation, complicated decisions, and an aching need to protect his people, allies, and family.
Should he do this should he not? Would there be a possible invasion to come? Was it possible
"Honey?"
Cornum was thrown out of his train of thought and into reality again and looked up to see his beautiful pregnant wife.
"Staying up thinking again?" She said, putting her hands on her hips with a concerned look.
Cornum looked to the window behind her, seeing it was dark, and sighed with a rye chuckle.
"Oh, uhm me, yeah ... Just a lot to... to.. to think about and all." Cornum said, exasperated
She smiled softly, walked up behind him, and squeezed at his tense shoulders.
Cornum leans back into his wife slightly with a groan and smiles, looking up at her goofily.
"Yknow. Aren't I the one supposed to be doing this for my beautiful pregnant wife who eats up all the peach pies from the pantry?" Cornum said, turning around and dragging Jacky down to sit on his lap.
She scoffs with a smile pretending to be offended, putting an arm around his neck and one on his chest to steady herself.
"Says the idiot husband who eats all the grapes up and doesn't even offer his poor wife who is in constant agony and can barely walk." She says, booping his nose.
"Ouch, I apologize. I'll offer you grapes more often then." Cornum says, giving her a chaste, sweet kiss, and stroking her raven hair softly.
Jacky breaks it and yawns, stretching her legs sprawled on the sofa.
"So, thinking tired husband, shall we go to our bed chambers because I don't think I can stay awake another minute." She says with a tired smile.
Cornum laughs, replying.
"Yknow, that doesn't sound half bad at all. Rest may do me good."
Cornum then lifts her, carrying her bridal style towards the door.
"Not bad at all." He says, closing the door behind them with an echoing *thud*
