Yoongi turned to see Jungkook, wearing all black and his hair messy. He smiled, his lip piercing shining. "Sorry, Felix was interrogating me."
"What?" Jungkook seemed to take this seriously, tilting his head and frowning.
"Nothing serious we were talking about you." Yoongi smiled, leaning against the bar. He saw Jungkook's frown deepen and grinned. "All good things, all good things."
He smiled, and waved at the bartender, and took a drink. He offered Yoongi an arm. "I'll show you around."
"Of course you own this club."
"Of course I do." He hummed, and walked up some steps to couches that circled the window, facing the ocean. "Men, this is Min Yoongi, Yoongi, this is Han Jisung, Lee Minho, Kim Seokjin and Kim Namjoon."
Yoongi recognized Kim Namjoon. He felt himself start to shake as Namjoon grinned at him, he'd been the man watching Jungkook and him on their date, he'd been the man to break into his house.
"I remember you." Jisung stands, and takes Yoongi's hand with a smile, "Come, sit. Jungkook hasn't stopped talking about you."
"You talk about me?" This caught him by surprise.
"All good things." He winked and pulled Yoongi down next to him. "Don't worry, we only have to sit here for a couple minutes, then we can go off on our own." Jk's arm was wrapped around him.
"Is your friend, Tae here?" Minho leaned forward on his couch, eyeing Yoongi.
Yoongi nodded nervously, feeling Namjoon's eyes on him. Namjoon now knew more about Yoongi then he should, curtesy to Jeon Jungkook. And now knew his friends' names. He froze at the thought of this, seeing Jimin across the room, dancing happily with his hands in the air. Minho got up and wandered around, searching for the tipsy boy.
"Yoongi? Yoongi?" Jungkook nudged him. "Jin just asked you a question."
Yoongi looked at Jin. Jin was smiling at him, unaware of his eminent anxiety and fear. "Where are you from?"
"Oh--uh around." He said vaguely.
Jin frowned. "I mean, where were you born?"
"I don't know--I was adopted." Yoongi looked at the ground, while that was true, it was also a lie. He knew he was born in Daegu. Namjoon scoffed and leaned back in his chair, resting his ankle on his knee.
"Oh--where were you raised?" Jin leaned forward. "I was raised in Gwacheon."
Yoongi looked at Jungkook, who could feel his tense body under his arm. Jungkook was concerned, he'd seen Yoongi nervous, btu never scared.
"Just around, it's not very important." Yoongi folded his arms, scratching at his wrist anxiously.
"What do you do for work?" Jisung's interest was piqued.
"I used to work at a bar." Yoongi had quit his job for obvious security reasons.
"You're unemployed right now?" Jin chimed in. His eyes were judging. Namjoon's eyes were clear, and proud. He knew how tense and nervous he was making Yoongi. And he knew Yoongi was lying. Yoongi didn't know how much he knew.
"I'd like to say I'm in-between jobs." Yoongi forced a smile.
Jisung chuckled. "Don't we all? Namjoon, a drink? Come on, you too Jin." Jisung stood and pulled the elder with him. Namjoon passed Yoongi with a smirk.
"Good luck." He hisses, hitting Yoongi's knee.
When they were out of earshot, Yoongi sighed, feeling his whole body relax. Not completely of course. He watched Namjoon. He walked like a threat, tall and proud. It made the long hair boy shudder.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder, holding him from behind. "You seem really anxious, can I help?"
Namjoon turned, watching them.
Yoongi stood. He had bugged the room. "Can we go somewhere else?"
"Yeah, sure. I have my own private lounge for my friends." He pulled Yoongi by the arm, across the room of dancing people and up some stairs. Yoongi caught a glimpse of Minho, Tae and Felix dancing. It sent a pang through his chest. Namjoon knew his name now.
Jungkook pulled him down a hall, walking quickly as he saw Yoongi grow more anxious, he looked like he was about to cry. He led the older through a set of glass doors, into a quiet lounge in a circle shape, a wall of glass on the left and on the right a bar, unattended. The lounge was dark with soft lights, and a waterfall on a wall.
Jungkook pulled him out onto a balcony and took Yoongi's hands. "Okay, tell me what's wrong."
