Yoongi's phone rang as he walked into a bar. He'd been going through Hope's list of quiet jobs that he could take all day. He was tired, so he sat down at the bar and ordered a drink before picking up the phone.
"We're still on for tonight, right?" came Jungkook's voice.
Yoongi had forgotten about the date. He'd been distracted. "Yes, I'll pick you up at six."
"Are you okay? You--we can talk about it tonight. I'll see you then." Jungkook hung up, sounding upset.
"Hey." Yoongi called over the bartender. "I heard you guys were hiring, I have a resume here if you want it--" Yoongi started to pull it out of his bag.
"Oh, yeah we are. What position are you applying for?" The bartender watched him with a smile.
"Anything that pays well." Yoongi slid the resume over to him and stood up. He pays for his drink and leaves, heading back to his apartment. He'd have to get ready for his date tonight. He was going to make a picnic and take Jungkook up on the hills.
As he got ready his phone rang again, it was Hope. "Hey Yoongi--Are you free tonight?"
"No sir. I have a date." Yoongi says, digging through his closet and deciding what to wear. He hadn't bought hangers yet. "I'm free tomorrow night--I think?"
"Oh? Who are you going on a date with?" Hope asked, his tone slightly jealous.
"You already know, you've been watching me Hope." Yoongi decided on a tan sweater and some black jeans. "But its Jungkook."
"Oh...wow." Hoseok sounded surprised, as if he didn't actually know who Yoongi had been hanging out with the past couple of weeks.
"I've got to go, I'll see you tomorrow night?" Yoongi offered. When Hoseok grunted in response, Yoongi hung up and grabbed the picnic basket he'd prepared and went down to his bike. He pulled on his jacket and put the basket in the storage containers on his bike.
And then he left for Jungkook's house, his mind silent as we approached the large penthouse. When he got there, Jungkook wasn't outside. So, he texted Jungkook, unsure if he should go inside or not. After a couple minutes he got impatient, so he headed inside.
He buzzed the door, which buzzed back at him, letting him inside.
When he got to the penthouse, he was greeted by Jin. He was draped across Jungkook's couch in a robe, watching the TV while smoking. He looked up at Yoongi. "Hey, Yoongi."
"Hi...? Is Jungkook here?"
"I'm right here!" Jungkook scrambled into the room, looking like a mess. "Sorry, I slept in so I'm not completely ready yet, just give me a few minutes." Jungkook whirled past Yoongi, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
Jin's eyes were on him from across the room. "You ride a bike?"
Yoongi glanced at the motorcycle helmet in his hand. "Yessir."
"You don't have to be so proper with me." Jin stood; the robe fell down his thighs. "What bike do you have?"
"Yamaha R1M, sir." Yoongi took a step back, the man's stare was powerful, and he blew smoke over Yoongi's head.
"Seriously, you don't have to be so formal. A friend of Kook's is a friend of mine." Seokjin smiled softly, smoke wisping through his lips. "You should take me for a ride sometime."
"Hey! Stop intimidating him!" Jungkook dashed past them again, wearing a white shirt, and blue jeans and only one shoe. "He's mine, you know?"
"I'm yours?" Yoongi called after the millionaire.
But the boy had gone into his room across the penthouse.
"Too bad." Jin pouted and turned back towards the couch.
Yoongi's phone buzzed. he looked down at it as he could hear Jungkook singing in the other room.
HOPE: Namjoon's on your tail.
YG: Distract him?
HOPE: yessir o7
Now he felt the anxiety set in and glanced at Jin. Did he know anything? Had Minho? How had Namjoon gotten so close to them? He shouldn't be doing this, but Jungkook walked up, and he left out a breath, seeing his big smile.
"Hey kitty, let's go, yeah?" Jungkook linked arms with him and walked into the elevator.
"Did Taehyung sleep over?" Yoongi asks as he hits the ground floor.
"Yeah, he does that sometimes." Jungkook shrugged. "So, where are we going?"
"Somewhere nice. remember, it's a surprise." Yoongi nudged him playfully as the doors opened. "Come on."
Jungkook happily followed Yoongi. He didn't get surprises often.
The bike waited outside. Yoongi glanced over it to see if it had been tampered with, and there was nothing directly wrong with it.
"Here you go." Yoongi handed him the helmet.
"What? No, you wear it." Jungkook shook his head.
"What? Are you worried about your hair? Put it on." Yoongi raised it to put on his head and he grinned.
"Fine but--" Jungkook kissed him before grabbing it and pulling it on. Yoongi smiled and shook his head walking around the bike. He kicked the stand in and waited for kook to get on. "I'm so much bigger than you--you sure?"
Yoongi rolls his eyes. "I'll be fine, get on bunny. We've got places to be."
Jungkook nodded and got on, the bike swaying. He settled on the back and held onto Yoongi's jacket shoulders.
"Here" Yoongi pulled his hands down to his waist. "Is better, ready?"
Jungkook nodded, his helmet bobbing and hitting Yoongi's shoulder.
Yoongi started the bike and lurched out into the street, heading up into the hills beyond the city. Every turn they did Jungkook clung a little bit tighter to Yoongi, and struggled to lean with Yoongi, which made it difficult for him.
They pulled to stop at a light. Yoongi patted Jungkook's thigh. "You doing alright, Kook?"
"Yeah." Jungkook pulled on his jacket a little tighter.
"You scared bunny?" Yoongi teased with a smile, tapping the visor so it opened. Jungkook's big eyes stared back.
"Oh please." Kook glared at him. Yoongi suddenly felt his hand shift from his ribs to his thighs, holding them in his big hands. "I'll show you how scared I am."
Yoongi felt himself blush as he turned around, and the light flashed green.
