They pulled up to an empty hill just beyond where the houses stropped. It wasn't too far from the city, and Yoongi stopped the bike. He let Jungkook get off and got off himself, turning the bike off.
He smiled when he saw Jungkook struggling and took the helmet off. He shook his curls, which fell in his eyes. "So, are we going to talk about sleeping together or not, Yoongi?"
Yoongi raised a brow. "I was going to save that for after desert, but sure Jungkook, let's talk about it." He opened the storage container and pulled out a basket. "I don't remember it."
"You don't?" Jungkook gasped, following him out to the field. Yoongi dropped the blanket and sat down, pulling off his jacket. "I...do." Jungkook's eyes trailed over him.
Yoongi looked away, his face red. "Ah, that changes things."
"In a bad way?" Jungkook's eyes widened.
"I'm not sure yet." Yoongi opened the basket.
"Are you sure? Because I've barley heard from you all week, Yoongi. When I called you-you sounded so distant. Have I done something to you? Should we not have done that? Should we not do this--"
Yoongi cut him off with a kiss, cradling his jaw. "Would I do that if I wouldn't want to be doing this, Jungkook?"
Jungkook's eyes were fluttering, a small smile escaping him.
"I've just been moving all week, and I got a new job. Okay? I know I should have warned you or something, but I just got so caught up in stuff."
"Why did you move? I thought you were living with Jimin?" He frowned, his lips pouting. Yoongi had to resist and looked away as he started to talk again.
"I got robbed, Kook. I lived with Jimin for a couple of days, but it was never permanent. I got a new place; I'll show you sometime." Yoongi smiled.
"And your job?"
"I quit. Shitty boss. You know?" Yoongi was shocked at how easy it was for the lies to slip out of his mouth. "I've applied to a lot of new places. My friend gave me a list."
"Your friend?"
"Yeah, so I'm waiting to hear back from them--"
"Okay, so if that's all happening, what does that make us? Because I don't want this to be nothing." Jungkook touched Yoongi's hand.
Yoongi hadn't expected that. "I don't want it to be nothing, either."
"Good. So, there's something here?" Jungkook's hand moved up Yoongi's arm, his eyes glued to Yoongi's lips.
"Yes." Yoongi whispered.
"Enough to call you, my boyfriend?" Jungkook pulled Yoongi's chin up, so that they were looking at each other. Yoongi's heart swelled with hope.
"Yes."
Jungkook didn't say anything else and kissed Yoongi, pushing his down on the picnic blanket, smiling through the kiss. He kissed all over Yoongi's face, making Yoongi complain.
"The food's going to get cold, kook," Yoongi looked over at the basket.
"Right!" Jungkook got off him with a smile, opening the basket. "What did you make? I didn't know you cooked."
"Oh--its nothing special. Just some fruit sandwiches." Yoongi helped him pull out the sling-wrapped plates. Jungkook's eyes winded when he saw them.
"These look great! Thank you, kitty."
"I'm not a cat." Yoongi crossed his arms.
"No, you're not. You're my boyfriend." Jungkook giggled at the words, it made Yoongi smile. He kissed Jungkook on the cheek and they began to eat the delicious sandwich's and watched the sun set over the city. Happiness radiated through them has they stumbled back to the bike on the edge of the woods. "What should we do now?" Jungkook took Yoongi's hand and spun him around.
"You want to go back to my place?" Yoongi smiled.
