Yoongi's heart was pounding as he ran down the sidewalk. Felix had called Hyunjin telling him to get to Jimin's a as fast as he could.
Now here Yoongi was, running and hoping with all his heart that things were okay. He was faster than Jimin, who ran behind him, calling out to slow down.
Yoongi reached Jimin's apartment first. He ran up the stairs calling out to Tae.
The apartment door was already open. They all knew it was a bad idea to leave Taehyung home alone. But Hyunjin's shift ended a half an hour after Jimin had to leave for the show. How do tragedies happen in such short moments?
Looking down at Hyunjin sobbing over Taehyung's bleeding body, Yoongi was proven wrong. Blood soaked the tiles of Jimin kitchen, and a knife lay in the corner, lonely and longing for skin.
Jimin ran in, out of breath.
"Jimin call 112!" Yoongi ran over and touched hand neck, finding the pulse. It was faint, close to nothing. But he was still alive. They had time.
Yoongi got up and fumbled around, finding some cloths to wrap around Tae's wrists. He pressed them to his arms while he heard Jimin crying to the operator. The boys' eyes were flickering under Yoongi. He looked at the older boy, but Yoongi saw no flash of recognition. shit.
"Come on, we have to get him outside!" Yoongi urged Hyunjin, who clung to the boy like a lifeline. "Come on, we still have time!"
Hyunjin nodded and grabbed the boy before they all ran out to the street. They all ran outside, finding a panicked Felix. He burst into tears when he saw the state of his best friend. "Oh my god..."
They heard sirens and saw the ambulance rush up to then. The EMTs quickly grabbed the boy and put him in the ambulance. Yoongi felt rage burn through his vision when he saw how small his best friend had gotten, compared to the size of the stretcher.
Namjoon had done this.
Kim Namjoon.
The EMTs wouldn't let his friends go to the hospital with him. Taehyung was in critical condition. and, none of the boys were his family. Though the boys had tried to argue that they were more than that, they still said no.
So, they were forced to cram into Jimin's small car and speed after the ambulance. But even when they got there, they couldn't see him due to his unstable condition. The boys were stuck worrying in the lobby.
Yoongi felt the anger growing and spreading. This was all because of Namjoon. Because of Yoongi and his past he told no one about. He never should have gotten involved with kids his age. His phone was dead, and the boy really needed to make a call.
They wouldn't be seeing Taehyung for a while. So he gave the receptionist his number to update him and then he left the hospital, taking the bus home. He needed to call even more help. More than he could find in Seoul.
He stomped up the stairs to his apartment. He'd made his decision: He was going to sell Namjoon out. He hadn't figured out how to destroy him but now it was obvious.
Yoongi raised his hand to the door, seeing the three burn marks they reflected in his eyes. He realized he didn't have a door. He looked up and sighed. His apartment was trashed, once again. He walked in and saw his furniture turned over and covered in red spray paint, his books torn and curtains ruined.
The window was covered in red, jealous handwriting.
YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MINE.
YOUVE RUN OUT OF TIME, AGUST D.
Okay, maybe he does hate Hoseok a little bit. He grabbed a charging brick and cord for his phone before turning and leaving. This was all he needed from this shit hole.
Yoongi went outside to his bike and tucked his phone away in his pocket. He felt the buzz of it start to charge before he got on his bike. He scanned the street. Surely, he was being watched. He saw a man with a red van across the street parked. He was fixing his glasses, with three burns on his arm.
A man in a cafe, he was on the phone and had three burns.
A girl on a bike. Three burns.
And a man with three burns on his neck. Behind him, on a bike. He really was surrounded, with the mafia leader right behind him. He pulled on his helmet and kicked the bike stand.
"Don't flee. I'm warning you." Hoseok walked up in front of Yoongi. He wore a big bomber jacket but saw the glint of a gun under all the layers was prominent.
"You're going to kill me, Hoseok?"
"If I have to." He held up his head high, as if that was something to be proud of.
Yoongi doesn't doubt his ability to kill. He'd seen it happen over and over again. Hoseok never showed hesitation. He questioned Hoseok's ability to kill him: a past lover of two years. They'd had all their firsts together. They'd been each other's first love.
"I don't believe you, Hope." Yoongi challenged and flipped his visor open, to stare into the eyes of whom he used to love. When he made eye contact with Hope, he saw fear and his love faltered for a moment. "Kill me, please. I've been wanting this." Yoongi confessed with a smile.
Hoseok eyes widened at Yoongi's truth. "Agust.."
Yoongi started the bike and took off. The pairs of vehicles started to surround him. Yoongi had already mapped out a short escape route. fool proof, honestly.
His phone started to blow up with notifications.
Namjoon was on an American Harley, roaring loudly behind him. The van followed him on the left. The man from the cafe was now in a silver car to his right. He was cornered.
He sped up dangerously, spotting an alley on the right. He weaved in front of the silver car, which tried to kiss his back tire. But Yoongi was faster than that.
bang, bang, bang.
Namjoon was shooting at him; the idiot was going to crash himself. This took Yoongi by surprise and mad him swerve with surprise. He was no stranger to bullets, but they were out in the open. Namjoon was getting desperate.
The alley was made of cobbles stone which made it hard to drive a bike and it had dumpsters lined up so a car couldn't get through. But it was easy for Yoongi, he'd practiced this at night. He could do this with his eyes closed.
Bang, bang.
But he wouldn't.
He heard dings of it hitting his bike, trying to get his tire. Ultimately, they hit useless parts of the bike.
He sped down to the right, finding himself on a busy road with many split offs, one going up to a bridge, which connected to a busier road, one connecting the alley to the other side of the road, still going down the hill. roads split off after the bridge and a tunnel was built under the bridge.
Yoongi took the tunnel.
No one would find him now. he started to speed up, heading to his home town. Daegu .
