Before I get into this I would like to take a moment to briefly discuss two books I recently read (or tried to read) on Wattpad. Speed-reviews, if you will. The first is Crazed Minds. You might've heard of it, it's reasonably popular on here. What I managed to get through was absolutely terrible, and I'm not sorry. I liked the premise a lot—wave a boarding school trope under my nose and you can drag me anywhere—but the concept seemed slightly fumbled to me. I went in expecting compelling mentally ill characters, a cool murder mystery, and maybe toxic hot guys who are suspects in the murder and get the protagonist tangled in a web of intrigue, but you know what I got? YOU KNOW WHAT I GOT?

12 chapters in (out of 44) and NO murder yet (THAT'S 27% OF THE MURDER MYSTERY NOVEL). Most of the plot was a WHITE BOY LOVE TRIANGLE. 😐 This particular variation was more of a Bad Boy Love Triangle, but unfortunately, the White Boy Love Triangle just has never really appealed to me... all the tropes too (one has lighter skin/hair/eyes and is the Serious One, the other is Tan™ and the Reckless One—not going to make assumptions about why people always make The Tan One™ the crazy angry reckless one but I'm just saying). If you like love triangles pls do read!! The rest might be good, I tapped out, so go find out for yourself. Otherwise I can't under any circumstances recommend it, the characters were kind of fun at first but honestly for a similar premise with WAY better execution just go read Bad Boy Roommate.
