"I'm telling you... there's a demon at our place!" Inosuke exclaimed while animatingly moving his arms in the air as he tells Tanjiro about it, "It was all like this and this!"

"Right, the thing is, um... Just slow down, please." Tanjiro hesitantly said, "I think it would be best for (Y/n) to explain instead."

"Hmph!" Inosuke huffs as he turns his head away.

"(Y/n)?" Tanjiro calls for you, getting a little concerned about your quiet behavior since you arrived at the meeting.

"Huh?" You finally snapped out of your thoughts and saw Inosuke and Tanjiro staring at you, "Pardon? I didn't really hear what you said, sorry."

"That's ok, are you alright?" Tanjiro asked which you nod at.

"Yes, I'm fine haha..." You dismissed with an awkward laugh.

"Zenitsu isn't coming."

The three of you immediately turn all your attention to Uzui, who suddenly appeared, sitting at the end of the roof and staring below.

Your breath hitched at the sudden information.

Uzui's tone was different from his normal egoistic one, "I owe you guys an apology." You were a bit surprised at his sudden sentimental words, "I was so desperate to save my wives, I made a lot of bad calls." He confessed, "Zenitsu is currently missing. We lost contact with him last night."

"No way..." You subconsciously cover your mouth with your hand, 'Zenitsu-kun...'

"You three had better leave town. Your ranks are too low."

'We can't leave without Zenitsu-kun.'

"If we're dealing with an upper-rank demon, you won't be able to handle it." Uzui stated, "The missing will be presumed dead." He stands up, "I'm working solo from here on."

You frown at Uzui's last statement, 'There's no way we're gonna go back and leave him to do this alone.'

"I guess since we're the lowest rank, he just doesn't trust us," Tanjiro remarked sadly.

"I can't argue with that..." You murmured dejectedly.

"Our rank is, Kanoe. We've already gone up." Inosuke told you and Tanjiro causing you to look at him with surprise, "You remember the ranks? We used to be the lowest, Mizunoto, right? Well, now we're now Kanoe, four from the bottom."
