The Hand Shake That Sealed My Fate...

Vaggie's POV:

The next day, I woke up and looked around. It was so weird that I wasn't in my usual bedroom in my usual clothes, but I guess I'm just going to have to get used to it.

I turned to my side and found Charlie was sleeping right next to me, just about an inch away. I started to feel a blush creep onto my face as I tried to shuffle away, but then suddenly she put am arm around me.

I screamed and then was flung out of bed from Charlie's sleep reflexes. She then woke up and gasped.

"Are you okay?!" She asked.

"I'm fine!" I replied briskly with a wobbly smile on my red face.

"Well then let's start again!" Charlie said, "Good morning Vaggie!"

"Good morning Charlie," I mumbled.

After that, she helped me up and she began to get dressed. I just sat on her bed as I didn't have anything to get dressed into.

"I think for now, you'll just have to wear that outfit you were wearing before," She informed me, "I'll try and get you some new clothes today though!"

"Okay," I replied.

I got dressed into my white dress and then things got awkward. The one thing we hadn't sorted out yet was how we were going to tell the others in the hotel that I would be staying here.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"You could always hide in here for the day if you want," Charlie suggested.

"I don't really want to keep myself a secret though, I want to explore around Hell but I can't if I'm stuck here," I admitted.

"Well," The Princess of Hell hummed, "I guess maybe we should let them know, I mean they know you already so they shouldn't react too badly!"

I nodded in response. With that, I grabbed hold of her hand and together we walked out of her bedroom.

She helped me down the stairs since I was still in a little pain and then led me to the living room where everyone was waiting.

"What happened to Vagi-" Angel Dust was about to ask, but then I cut him off.

"Please don't call me that!" I interrupted.

"What we were going to say is that Vaggie... fell..." Charlie mumbled

"What do you mean by fell?" Husk asked.

"Lute tore off my wings and now I'm a fallen angel!" I explained.

"You mean you're stuck here?" Angel Dust asked.

"Yeah..." I muttered.

"Yay!!!" Niffty squealed, jumping off the couch and wrapped her arms around my legs.

"You're around here most of the time so, I guess we can all get used to seeing you more," Husk replied.

"So it's not a big deal?" I asked.

Everyone was about to chorus yes, but then Alastor cut them off.

"It is to me!" He said.

He then stood up and walked over to me. My grip of my crushes hand became tighter as I was so worried about what would happen next.

"If you're staying here, you have to work too!" Alastor pointed out, "I can't just have everyone working hard while you're hardly working!"

"Fine by me!" I replied.

"And also, you have to make a deal!" He added.

"What kind of deal?" I asked.

"You must work here for life, even if you get the opportunity to be redeemed!" He explained, holding out his hand.

"There's no way I'm shaking your hand!" I shouted.

We started a staring contest until Charlie interrupted us.

"I just need to chat to Vaggie privately, excuse us!" She said briskly and then pulled me aside.

When we got over to the wall, she then whispered, "You can't just refuse one of Alastor's dares!'

"I bet I can!" I replied, smiling as I crossed my arms.

"The consequences are severe, I can't risk you getting hurt!" She cried.

"Well I'm not moving!" I replied and turned my back on her.

She sighed.

"Fine then, I'll do it myself!" She said and marched off.

"Wait what?" I questioned.

I followed behind her and realised she was about to make the deal for me.

"I shall make the deal for her!" Charlie said and held out her hand.

"Please don't do this Charlie!" I begged.

It was too late though. Alastor and Charlie shook hands and I could feel a powerful amount of energy swirling in the air.

Alastor then walked back over to me.

"Because you've been such a good sport, I decided to give you a present!" He said.

Suddenly in the blind of an eye, my white dress dissapeared and was replaced by a red crop top and black skirt. I also found that I had a new pair of boots on, an eyepatch and a red bow in my hair.

"Woah!" I gasped, and then looked back at him, "Thank you, I guess..."

"No problem, it will be nice to have you around!" He said, "Now everyone, get to work!"
