Cards Struck By Needles [Hisoillu]

The Flight

Since airships were a more casual mode of transportation, Hisoka and Illumi didn't have to do much at the airport before boarding the aircraft, that would take them to Lingon Airport.

When they did board though, they had found their seats, that were next to a window, fairly quickly.

As the airship lifted off and continued to gain altitude, Illumi and Hisoka both looked outside the window, watching the buildings turn to cities; until the cities were all covered by clouds.

"Seriously, I think we need a plan of what to do when we encounter the troupe." Said Illumi. "What were you thinking?" Asked Hisoka. "I'm not quite sure yet, but I was thinking, maybe we could find them at the auction, then approach them normally, so they don't think we're trying anything, and just simply ask them what they attacked us for, and why they didn't come to us, themselves." "Hmm, sure." "Really?" "Sounds simple enough." "Alrigh-" BOOM!
Illumi, had gotten interrupted by a very loud bang that came from the back of the airship. He and Hisoka leapt up from their seats, and ran to the back window, where they saw fire, pure fire. They could both feel in it their stomach, how the aircraft was loosing altitude, as it dropped, with speed. Illumi then ran over to the door, that he ripped off easily, despite the entire flight crew's efforts to stop him. Hisoka stood at the open door, looking down, he saw buildings, getting closer and closer. "Hold on to me!" Hisoka yelled. Illumi came to Hisoka and held on to his shoulders tightly; he was actually unsure of what exactly Hisoka was planning to do, but he trusted him.

Hisoka jumped out of the door, with Illumi still hanging on. They fell down, but not for long, as Hisoka then attached a long rope of bungee gum to a building; he and Illumi swung towards it. They almost smashed into the building, but Hisoka had already attached another rope of his bungee gum to another building with his other hand, and he loosened his nen, slowly, until both men had reached the floor safely.

"Bungee gum possesses the properties of both rubber and gum, you see." Hisoka said to Illumi, explaining his nen.

The two then turned around to watch the sky from the distance, as the burning airship they had been in, just a moment ago, had plummeted to the ground, in a field, making an explosion.

"Pity," Hisoka said, "I guess it will take us a bit longer to get to Yorknew."
