Hisoka woke up pretty early, considering that he had gotten more sleep than Illumi. He watched Illumi as he slept, for a few minutes, admiring his hair, that had remained perfect throughout the whole night. Hisoka's own hair, on the other hand, was still messy. Hisoka felt a specific feeling when he was around Illumi, one that he hadn't felt in a while, where his heart started racing and he felt butterflies in his stomach.
What felt odd to him, was that he had only known Illumi for a day; and it usually would take months, or even years of knowing a person, for him to feel that way around them. Hisoka hoped to at least become friends with Illumi one day. Most times, Hisoka would shut people out, which was also the reason why he didn't have many friends, not ever since...his childhood.

Hisoka preferred not to think or speak of his past; frankly, because he was uninterested in it.

He decided to get ready, by putting his clothes from the previous day back on, and quickly combing through his hair, with his fingers, while looking in the bathroom mirror. He didn't have his hair gel or his makeup with him. He could have still used his bungee gum to style his hair, and a small amount of texture surprise, to apply a star and teardrop. But he thought maybe, he would go for a less extreme look that day, for a change.

As he came out of the bathroom, he saw Illumi waking up. Illumi stood up from the bed, and went to put his clothes on.
"How long have you been awake?" Illumi asked. "Well good morning to you too." Hisoka replied sarcastically. "I only wanted to know." "Only about an hour."

"An hour?" Illumi said to himself; he couldn't remember the last time he got to sleep in. "Should we go downstairs for breakfast?" Hisoka asked Illumi; neither of them had gotten much to eat yesterday, so they were both pretty hungry. "Yes." Illumi answered. So the two of them left their room, and Hisoka locked it behind them.

They went downstairs using the elevator, until they got to the floor that the hotels' dining hall was on. There was a buffet with a vast selection of breakfast and brunch foods to choose from. Hisoka got bacon next to a salad, an odd combination; while Illumi chose scrambled eggs with a glass of milk. "What should we do until our flight?" Illumi asked, politely covering his mouth because he was still eating. "I'm not sure, it's up to you." Hisoka said, looking over at him. "I would like to take a walk."

Once the two finished eating, they went back upstairs to brush their teeth. Illumi sat at the rooms' desk, and took out a silk cloth from his pocket, and began polishing his nen needles that he had used the day before. Illumi always kept his needles in his top; they were pushed in to the point that they pierced his chest slightly, but he was used to that. Even though Illumi's nen type was manipulation, he was still able to conjure his needles. He polished them and reused them, because it would actually take up a surprising amount of energy to conjure new needles out of nen every time they got dirty, especially for someone, whose primary nen type was not conjuration. Illumi then inserted his needles back into his top.

As Illumi had finished, him and Hisoka left their room. When they got to the hotel lobby, Hisoka checked out with the receptionist, and the two men left the hotel.
They started walking, and talking to each other. "So, how long had you been following me before I stopped in the woods?" Illumi asked Hisoka. "Only a few hours, perhaps." Hisoka answered. "So, since I left the gates?" "Since you left through jumping out your bedroom window." Hisoka said. Illumi was surprised that Hisoka had made it through the testing gates, and wondered how he had dealt with the butlers. Most people who tried to enter the Zoldyck estate were foolish enough to enter through the smaller door, only to get eaten by the family pet, the mutant dog, Mike. The few that had figured out the trick, knew that they wouldn't get eaten if they entered through the testing gates; even less people had the strength in their nen to open all of the extremely heavy gates.
"Oh. Alright, but I will not fight you, as I am your ally for the time being." Illumi said to Hisoka, remembering the reason that Hisoka had chased him down in the first place. "I understand." Hisoka replied. "Maybe try the Heavens Arena if you're looking for a strong opponent, I think my younger brother Killua went at six years old." "At that age?" "Yes." Hisoka had heard of the Heavens Arena before, and he didn't think children would be fighting there; but then again he remembered from his previous research that all Zoldyck children began intense training from a very young age.

"I apologize that you had to see my, uh...my display of emotions yesterday, I'm not quite sure what's going on with me, but I can assure you that I'm usually not that way." Illumi said while avoiding eye contact as he was walking. While yesterday had been the day, where he showed the most vulnerability; it was also the day where Illumi had received the most caring and comforting physical touch from anyone, ever. It made him feel a way, that his mother's uncomfortable, fake hugs could never.

"Illumi," Hisoka said, looking straight at Illumi, holding Illumi's hands, "don't you ever apologize for that; it's completely normal show how you feel."
Illumi blushed a little, but his face still didn't give any hints.

They walked and walked, but they hadn't gone too far away from the hotel; so they made their way back there, to ask for them to call a taxi to go to the airport. Once they got to the hotel, they requested a taxi; they got one soon, as there were already some in the parking lot.

Hisoka and Illumi got into the cab and relaxed, as it was a pretty long drive. Throughout the drive, the two glanced at each other a couple times. The driver looked through the rearview mirror, and saw how Hisoka and Illumi looked at each other. "Are you on your honeymoon?" The cab driver asked. Illumi and Hisoka immediately looked out their car window, in embarrassment; both were blushing intensely.

Once they had reached the airport, Hisoka thanked the driver and paid. The two men left the car, and walked towards their airport terminal.
