"It seems I've already missed a fight, while I was having fun with you in the room, and I plan to miss many more." Hisoka said slyly to Illumi, before going to register for a new fight.

He then came back to Illumi, who looked paler than usual. "Is everything alright, Illumi?" He asked, showing his concern.

Illumi wanted to speak, but the words just didn't come out of his mouth. After last night with Hisoka, he started getting anxious about his parents, and what they would think, and when or if they would make him go back, to punish him,
Illumi was grateful for Hisoka; that Hisoka was able to make him forget about his parents, and the cruel things they did, but his actions the last night made him snap back into reality.

"Do you regret what we did?" Hisoka asked, with a slightly worried look. "No...it's nothing." Illumi replied. "You know you can tell me anything, Illumi. You don't have to though." "Right. Thanks." "I know a place that might cheer you up." Hisoka said, grabbing Illumi's wrist gently, as he led him outside of the heavens arena.

A/N: WE'RE GOING TO THE CIRCUS BITCH

Jk.

"Where are we going?" "To a special bakery."

The two entered a small bakery, with amazing-looking bread, pastries, and cakes on display.
Illumi ordered a vanilla cupcake, that had a lot of icing, and Hisoka got a slice of cheesecake, decorated with strawberry syrup and bubblegum. As Illumi stared eating his cupcake, the huge mountain of icing reached his nose; so it was now full of icing. Hisoka noticed this, wiped it off Illumi's nose with a finger, and licked it off. Illumi hid his flustered face behind his big cupcake.

"So, Hisoka; how did you know about this place?" Illumi asked, genuinely curious. "I used to come here as a child, to buy bread. They would always give me a candy called bungee gum, to take home." He replied. Though he answered easily, the question shook a wave of uncomfortable energy over him.
"Interesting." Illumi thought to himself; he had never, in his entire life, gone out to buy bread.

"What do you think of the heavens arena?" Illumi asked. "So far, the fights have been incredibly boring; I do hope my next one is more interesting." "I see."

The two both noticed the awkwardness of the conversation, but didn't dare to talk about how their relationship as allies, was bound to turn into something else.

After Hisoka and Illumi finished, they went back to the heavens arena room, and minded their own business, until the next fight. Illumi passed his time reading a book, while Hisoka spent his, building a house of cards on the floor. Hisoka looked up at Illumi, who was on the couch, reading. He couldn't look away; he was caught in a trance of Illumi's majestic nature, as he flipped through the pages, his dark, mysterious eyes didn't move one bit. It was only when Illumi looked back at him; that he realized he had knocked down his own card tower with an elbow.

"Your expression looks stupid, and why are you staring." Illumi asked, blankly. "I wasn't staring." Hisoka replied. "I could feel your eyes all over me without looking." "I'm admiring your beauty, Illu." Hisoka replied, not breaking eye contact. "Hm what?" Illumi asked, before Hisoka walked up to him. "You're handsome, intelligent, and you haven't failed to amaze me every day."

Illumi blushed and hid his slightly reddened face behind his book, only for Hisoka to hold his chin back up, with two fingers, and place a soft kiss on his cheek.

"Be my boyfriend, Illumi; I'll be yours and you'll be mine. Hmm?~ What do you think?" Hisoka asked.
