Jackson's Diary by Paola Batalla is my absolute favorite comic, there are a ton of couples that I really like but I thought it could be fun to comment on some of the rare pairs I see as well!

No. Just no.
I hated this couple from the moment Brenda first showed up. I actually don't have an explanation for why I despised them right off the bat, I just didn't feel it for some reason. In the beginning Exer is meant to seem like he dislikes Jackson because Jackson and Brenda had a moment and like each other, so Exer gets jealous.. that is such a toxic way to introduce this ship into the comic, and it happens in like the second episode.
There's also the whole thing with David. He is Brenda's brother and Exer's best friend. David has an extremely obvious crush on Exer throughout the first season, so we also know Exer and Brenda's relationship is destined to hurt someone they both really care about.
Overall their relationship had a purposely terrible foundation and was never meant to be likable.
