I was completely immobile, weighed down by a heavy burden on my back. Pain radiated from different parts of my body, but it was particularly intense around my right eye. "Farida... hey, wake up..." I said, wincing because of the stabbing pain in my right eye.
Even my right arm hurts. It was affected by the impact, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was broken.
"Aid them!"
"Fuck! Ristan Escalante and his assistant escaped!"
"Ze've! Go upstairs! Make sure to seize one of his men as a hostage!"
"Why would I take orders from some scum like you?"
"Fuck you, man! Just do it!"
"I know! I would do it anyway; you don't have to tell me, damn it!"
"Apollo, get Angelus and the lady out of the ruins!"
I groaned and hugged Farida tightly when I felt my body giving up. Inangat ko ang kanang kamay at sinapo ang nananakit na mata. I can't open it. Something sharp is stabbing my globe.
