CHAPTER SEVEN: A TROLL ON HALLOWEEN, A PRANK IN CHARMS, AND TIE FIXING
LILY AND HARRY woke up early that morning, they were getting their first quidditch lesson by Marcus Flint. While Atlas was probably doing the same as them with Andrew Williams.
"Quidditch is easy enough to understand. Each team has seven players, three chasers, that's you Lupin, two beaters, one keeper, and the seeker which is you, Potter." Marcus explained, as he kneeled to the ground and unlocked the box, that held balls for quidditch. He grabs one of them and passes it to Lily who catches it.
"There are three kinds of balls, this one is called the quaffle and now the chasers, that's you and me handle the quaffle and put through one of those three hoops. The keeper defends the hoops, you two understand me so far?" He asked as Lily passed the quaffle back and he caught it, the two nodded.
"I think so?" Harry said, he was quite confused, he lived in a muggle world and did not know anything about the wizarding world. Harry looked down at the ones that were locked up and said "What are those?" As Marcus nods and kneels to open the locks the ball quickly goes up in the air.
"Here you go, Potter", Marcus hands a bat, Harry hesitantly takes the bat, and the three look up in the air, seeing the ball come back down.
"It's coming back and at the right moment Harry, hit it", Lily told him as Harry waited for it to come down as it came closer, he hit it perfectly, making go directly into between the hole in the statue.
"Excellent hit, Potter. You'll make a good beater as well", Marcus complimented Harry with a smirk Harry smiled widely but soon the ball came back, coming back directly towards them, Marcus quickly caught the ball and locked it up.
"What was that?" Harry asked curiously, Marcus looked up at him as he looked at Lily with a smirk and nodded his head towards Harry.
"Bludgers. The beaters hit bludgers towards their opposite opponents to attack", Lily explained to Harry who nodded understanding.
"But you, Potter, are the seeker," Marcus said, opening the center of the box, as he pulled out a little golden ball.
"The only thing I want you to worry about is this. The golden snitch", Marcus said, handing him the golden snitch. Harry looked around the golden snitch before speaking. "I like this ball". Harry smiled while Marcus had a delightful smirk on his face.
"That's perfect, but just wait until you find out what it made of at practice or in the quidditch match this week. The golden snitch is wicked fast and almost impossible to see", Marcus explained with a straight face.
