CHAPTER NINETEEN: THE MYSTERIOUS VOICE AND THE MESSAGE ON THE WALL
LILY ENDED UP IN DETENTION, which was no surprise. Draco had gone to Snape while they were at Hagrid's Hut, and plus Snape knew it was her when he found out Draco was in the hospital wing. To lily, it wasn't fair, because he was always the one picking fights with them, she had explained to Snape that Draco started by calling Hermione a mudblood, and the greasy haired man didn't care and took five points away from Slytherin while also giving her detention.
She thought it was misery, but she could've got it worse, like how Harry was stuck in detention with Lockhart or polishing trophies with Filch which Ron was doing. While Snape made her clean the entire classroom and made sure she clean very spot, not missing one. When her detention was finally over, she went to go find Harry and Ron to figure out what happened in their detention.
Lily quickly found Harry, walking close to the wall, his ear pressed against it. She tried to catch up to him, confused on what Harry doing, when they turned the corner, they quickly ran into Ron, Hermione, Atlas, and Adrian.
"Harry, Lupin, there you are", Hermione said, slightly looking at Lily's hand which was bandaged in white wrapping tape.
"Did you hear it?" Harry asked them which quickly confused the others.
"Hear what?" Atlas asked confused.
"That voice", Harry replied.
"Voice? What voice?" Lily asked confused.
"I heard it first in Lockhart's office and then again just..." Harry trailed off as he looked down the hall, Lily's head began to hurt as a voice said something.
Kill...
"It's moving. I think it's going to kill" Harry said.
"Kill?" Ron asked worryingly. Harry heard the voice again as he quickly went down the hall, while the others followed him, he stop at a trail of spiders. "Strange, I've never seen spiders act like that", Harry said, he was curious about the trail of spiders.
"I don't like spiders", Ron said in fear, causing Atlas to roll his eyes.
"What's that?" Atlas asked, pointing at the reflection in a pool of water that was on the floor, he rose his finger and looked at the wall, he had really hope it was red paint that was written on the wall.
"'The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir, beware'", Adrian read, he was confused and curious, he wanted to know what was the chamber of secrets was.
"It's written in blood", Hermione noticed, gulping.
"Oh, no." Harry noticed something hanging from the torches. "It's Filch's cat...it's Mrs. Norris". In that moment, footsteps and chatter filled the corridor as students were walking back to their common room for the night, but stopped when they saw the message on the wall and saw the friend group next to it, Colin quickly raised his camera to take a picture but George pushed it away, shaking his head.
