CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT: CONFESSIONS AND NEW FAMILY

A/N: there's a scene in here which I got it from one of my moots book, jpotteristheloml it belongs to them. Just to let you know!

IT WAS THE LAST DAY OF THEIR SECOND YEAR AT HOGWARTS. Everyone was packing, getting last minute things, the twins been finished packing and were in the great hall for breakfast. They're only people in their besides from the professors, the twins knew their friends and everyone else was probably packing still.

The twins sat in silence, eating some toast. Until Atlas spoke up, "Lily, w-what do you think about Rowan and Rome being our siblings?" The question made Lily stopped eating as she placed her toast down, wiping her face.

Lily faced her twin, confused yet angry expression on her face. "I can't believe it. We have other siblings a-and dad didn't even think to tell us. We only thought we only had each other but in reality we have two brothers, Atlas. I'm frustrated and confused on why dad didn't tell us."

Atlas nodded in agreement, he understood why she was so frustrated and confused, he was as well. Why didn't their father tell them? "And dad also didn't tell us who our mother was. Why was that? Was he ashamed of her? And why did he hide it from us?"

Before Lily could respond, Rowan and Rome entered the great hall, the siblings locked eyes, not breaking eye contact. Rome said something to Rowan who instantly rolled his eyes in annoyance, the twins watched as their brothers argue about something. Before walking over to the twins, the twins instantly fixed their prosper. Rowan and Rome sat in front of Lily and Atlas, there was awkward silence between the four.

Atlas spoke up once again, "We need to talk." The three nodded in agreement.

"Look, I didn't mean the things I said back in the classroom that day. I was just angry and confused, I mean, we found out a couple of days before you. At first, I didn't believe it, I thought my- our mother was lying but she wasn't. Plus, your father wasn't around in our life, so it didn't make any sense when me and Rome found out he was our father," Rowan explained, his fists clenching.

"It's also didn't make any sense when we found out Romulus was our father and why? Because if he was our father, why didn't raise us with you two?" Rome questioned. The twins shrugged, wondering the same thing too, while Rowan's fists were clenched, they were almost white.

"That's because he didn't want us." Rowan replied angrily as the twins were quick to shake their heads.

"You don't know that, Rowan." Atlas said, you could clearly hear the annoyance in Atlas's voice.
