CHAPTER THIRTEEN: FIRST YEAR COMES TO A END AND THE BET
LILY WOKE UP WITH ATLAS beside her, he was reading a book, it was "fantastic beasts and where to find them" Atlas took his time reading page by page. He looked very patient and also worried, he had been waiting for Lily to wake up but was tense. Atlas looked away from his book and looked at Lily, realizing she was awake.
"Lils!" Atlas quickly set his book down and hugged Lily tightly, causing her to wince in pain, causing Atlas to quickly stopped hugging her. "Sorry, sorry!" Atlas quickly apologized, causing Lily chuckled softly, she hugged him back softly. Lily looked across from her, seeing Harry's unconscious body laying on the hospital bed.
"Harry.." Lily said as she rushed to get up but quickly sat back down, she lifted up her shirt slightly seeing a line of a scar trailing down her side, it had been freshly stitched, Lily could tell. She sighed deeply, why did she have to be so stupid?
"Hey, don't worry. It's gonna make an awesome scar", Atlas said comforting, Lily laughed as she smiled softly. Madam Pomfrey walked closer to the twins, giving her a healing potion.
"Here, take this, it would be healed and won't hurt but it would be there permanently. You're free to leave Miss Lupin" Madam Pomfrey said, Atlas smiled as Lily took the healing potion she almost spit it but swallowed it.
"Oh, that's disgusting!" Lily exclaimed while Atlas laughed. Lily quickly got dressed but didn't notice she had a bunch of stuff on her bed.
"What's all this?" Lily asked curiously.
"Oh, well, everyone knows how we saved the school so your admirers send you gifts by thanking you, well us, they send me some. Like this one", Atlas picked up a gift, it was a book called 'Hogwarts: a history' Lily grinned, she immediately knew it was from Hermione. "Hermione send you this, well, she figured you hadn't read it yet so she lent it to you to read." Atlas said with a smirk, the look on Lily face when he mentioned Hermione gave her this book was so obvious, Lily looked like she was in love, literally. Atlas couldn't help himself but tell Lily what Hermione had been doing every day when Lily in hospital wing.
"You know, Hermione was in here every day, waiting for you to wake up. She's been very worried about you ever since what you had did for Ron" Lily eyes widened in surprise as she grinned widely. Atlas held a satisfied grin on his face that was exactly identical to Lily's.
"Really?"
"Really" Atlas replied, Lily grinned widely. With the help of Atlas, Lily grabbed her gifts that she had got, and the twins began to walk out the hospital wing, but as they opened the door they were met with Adrian, Ron, and Hermione. Lily and Hermione locked eyes forever until Hermione was the first break it apart and hugged Lily tightly, Lily winced in pain but hugged Hermione back, the three shared grins with each other, Lily and Hermione was comfortable with each other arms around each other.
