"My girls,"

"Dr. Nakamura, how is the project coming along?"

Aiko sighed softly, knowing that if she was caught by the KDF they wouldn't hesitate to lock her up and do god knows what.

"Troublesome, but nothing alarming. It seems my team and I have figured that Gigantron's skin isn't as impenetrable, considering Neronga's skin is similar in comparison," Aiko answered, making up random excuses to get the man off her back.

Silence called back at her, causing Aiko to want to hang up as anxiety built up slowly.

"I see. Well, I'm sure you and your team will figure something out," Dr. Onda said, his monotone voice ringing in her ears.

"Yes, Of course. Have a good day, sir,"

Aiko hung up as soon as she bid her goodbyes, turning her phone off before turning around to see her daughter and a twenty foot giant baby kaiju watching a kids television show together.

Both girls watching the hologram screen Mina had put up for them in a trance.

Aiko chuckled quietly at the sight before turning her phone back on to snap a picture.

"Mina turn it off please!" Aiko said, catching their attentions.

Mai and the baby Kaiju tilted their heads in sync as they watched Aiko in confusion. They sat with their legs out, waiting for the mother to say something.

"Now, Mai, why don't we teach her something new?" Aiko suggested, hinting towards Mina.

Mai continued to stare at her mother confused, before what seemed like a blub on top of her head light up.

"The Mai Dance!" Mai yelled out excitedly, her energy bouncing as the kaiju tried to copy her excitement.

Aiko smirked, knowing that this would annoy the hell out of her ex husband. Surely a little pay back wouldn't hurt, and it'll give him a chance to bond with Mai even more.

"Are we going to show Papa?" Mai asked, her eyes big as she waited with anticipation.

"Yes, we'll show papa how talented you are— you both are," Aiko said, smiling toward her daughter before glancing at the kaiju with the same expression.

Aiko's smile grew wider as the baby seemed to have smiled back at her. A warmth encasing her heart.

Mai shouted joyfully as she ran around, ready to show her new friend her dance moves so they both could show Mai's dad.
