The omega next to him now was just a sight to behold, and Jungkook was hooked in, even though the seriousness of the situation. He couldn't tear his eyes away from the little crescent eyes; they were more beautiful than anything else he had ever seen. Like nothing mattered further, or the world around him went dim in front of the omega's majestic existence.

Jimin struggled in his gaze, trying to process the swirling thoughts, and he couldn't help feeling a small pang of self-doubt.

The three other wolves in the room eye Jungkook curiously at this moment, their gazes given to amusement and something he could not exactly place.

Do I grow horns besides feeling for this omega? Why are my brothers embarrassing me looking like that?

"Why is he staring at me like that?" Jimin thought, and he suddenly became flushed but pleased with Jungkook's attention.

So, it was then that Jin entered back into the room, carrying a tray of wines and breaking all tension with his usual charm and wit. "Did I miss something here?" he inquired amusingly, his eyes shining as he surveyed the scene before him. "Can someone tell me how this mad wolf from some odd minutes ago turns into some puppy right now? And why does he have this sweet smell like he hasn't suffocated us before with angry pheromones?"

The comment Jin made caused Hobi to chuckle, sitting back rather comfortably while sipping his wine. "It's called the Jimin effect, hyung," he results in, playfully grinning towards Jimin with a nod.

I thought he was Sunshine, Hobi Hyung. Why are you saying this? If Jimin is not going to talk to me after this, I am blaming you.

At Hobi's words, Jimin's face flushed, but he couldn't help the little smile that emerged thereafter. He'd turned toward Taehyung, who had winked back. then focused on Namjoon and Jungkook, speaking with their eyes that had curiosity and something deeper, that understanding unsaid was beyond comprehension for Jimin.

As time went on, Jimin started to realize that maybe he'd found people who considered him as a person who they found worthy to cherish and protect.

Jungkook's voice sliced through the banter that was so light-hearted, with a seriousness to save his skin from accusation. "Jin hyung, those premium wines were for a toast. Why are you guys behaving like this? Is Kim facing any losses, and for that, hitting my ceremony like that?" His tone was controlled. He couldn't afford to scare Jimin now.

Jungkook felt a sudden change in Jimin's demeanour as Jimin watched him a full catch off guard.

"What the fuck .... when did I start caring about these wines?" he muttered to himself, feeling odd flusters, and his words stumbled out.

"Calm down, Jungkook," Jin interjected smoothly as usual, his smile unwavering despite the shift in the atmosphere. "I can transfer you 3 million of it. Let's celebrate! We are happy today, so take one. It's on me."

3 million??

His nerves betrayed him as his hand seemed to loosen involuntarily around the glass, and he lost his grip, knocking the bottle over unconsciously and spilling its contents all over himself. His heart dipped as the expensive wine stained his clothes.

"I'm s-sorry, Mr. Jeon," Jimin stammered, his voice trembling with fear. "I didn't mean to spill this expensive wine, even touch it. It's worth more than me. I am sorry; please, I can't pay you back. Please."

Jimin's anxiety was palpable, and his eyes widened at the distressing view of expectant faces. He felt really small and out of place, acutely aware of the contrast between his really simple background and the opulence that surrounded him now.
