CHAPTER 5

9:00 AM, KIM MANSION

The next day after he started working, Jimin found himself unexpectedly accompanying Taehyung to the Kim mansion. Upon nearing Taehyung's room, Taehyung turned to look at Jimin with a reassuring smile.

"Stay here, Mini. Let me bring you some food, and then we have some important things to discuss," Taehyung said as he opened the door.

Jimin was taken aback, for Taehyung did not stop being nice to him. "I have work to do. I don't understand why you're doing all this. You brought groceries and helped me check into the dorm. It's like a dream, especially from the nation's sweetheart."

Taehyung's expression was soft; his voice was a tone so soft yet earnest. "Oh Mimi, friends do things for each other. Believe me when I say you deserve this. I trust you, and from now on, you won't be alone. You will have a friend for life."

Moved by Taehyung's sincerity, Jimin hugged him tightly, emotions overflowing, and he cried for the first time inside someone's embrace. Taehyung stroked his back gently, trying to soothe him until Jimin was all right again.

"Don't cry, Jimin. You are a beautiful omega, just like an angel," Taehyung said with a bright smile. "Get ready. There are clothes on the bed. We're going somewhere to eat."

Nodding appreciatively, Jimin stepped back into the bathroom to dress. He could not help his racing thoughts at Taehyung's words and actions.

Coming out of the bathroom, he found Taehyung already waiting for him, ready to leave. "Come on, Mimi. We have to leave."

"Where are we going? I need to go to the office after," Jimin asked as they descended the stairs of the mansion.

"Don't worry about the office. Yoongi Hyung will handle it. We're going to meet my brother," Taehyung replied. Determination was in his voice as they approached some grand office hall.

"Your brother?" Jimin asked as Taehyung knocked confidently on the massive, ornate wooden door, edged in shining gold.

"Yes. We have something important to discuss," Taehyung said, looking straight and firm.

Jimin's anticipation and faith in Taehyung intensified as they stood there waiting to be admitted into whatever was behind the thick door.

The door slid open, and once inside, Jimin and Taehyung came face-to-face with two towering Alphas and a breathtakingly handsome omega. After all, it was a sight that none could turn a blind eye to; who wouldn't recognize them?

First was Kim Namjoon, the alpha of the prestigious Kim Pack, known far from his powerful presence to be the sole proprietor of a global empire of electronics. His brand topped markets with the most pocket-friendly gadgets to high-end technology.

To his left was Kim Seokjin, his partner and, on his merit, a self-sufficient and strong omega. His empire held a chain of luxurious restaurants and five-star hotels, each with his seal of elegance and culinary mastery.

The trio was completed by Jung Hoeseok, a sprawling Entertainment Enterprise owner and world-renowned rapper and dancer, with his tutorials religiously followed by fresh dancers across the globe. It was a testament to the great influence and impact he had.

" Why are you late?" Namjoon's voice held a hint of disapproval as he surveyed the newcomers.

"Calm down, bro. I was with Jiminie. Let me introduce you guys," Taehyung said with a warm, assuring smile as he stepped forward.

"This is Park Jimin," Taehyung announced proudly. "My brother-in-law."

Jimin braced himself for a cold reception from such powerful figures; then he saw the subtle shifts in their expressions as Taehyung mentioned his name a mix of acceptance with sympathy and curiosity flashing across their faces. Like they knew him.
