CHAPTER 12

Jimin created a new life filled with love, warmth, and experiences with his newly reunited family. He enrolled in a university to pursue his post-graduation and follow his passions. But at the corner of his heart, the scars remained, and oftentimes, he felt worthless, which manifested into anxiety.

Jimin, however, did not want anyone to come too close. His past experiences had made him wary of trusting others. But Jungkook was patient, very patient. He inched closer to Jimin, offering what he needed, friendship and support, but not pushing too hard for a relationship.

Jungkook was always there and provided a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and moments of laughter to lighten Jimin's heart.

From then, Jimin and Jungkook's relationship blossomed. Jungkook showered Jimin with so much love and patience that he had finally found peace and security, something he had never experienced in his life.

Now, an orphan who had gone through unbearable agonies, Jimin was enjoying a merciful family and a lover who loved him more than his life. He felt strong enough to fight back with Jungkook at his side against all odds of the future since now he was not alone.

For Omega Jimin, five years down the line was truly a turn of grace. It was full of love, joy, and fulfilment, living it all with his mate, Jungkook, by his side. Their bond was much stronger, and it could be so far that Jungkook was as devoted and in love as ever, smitten by Jimin.

Their house was often filled with jolly laughter coming from their two-year-old son, Minsu. Well, much as he was a mixture of mom and dad, he still resembled the bright eyes of Jimin and the legendary smiles of Jungkook to a certain extent. Indeed, Minsu brought so much happiness into their lives that it left his parents in joy over every single moment spent with him.

Jimin's heart now brimmed with joy next to his soulmate and brother-in-law, Taehyung. Taehyung and Yoongi now formed one mated pair, and they had twin boys running around the place, bringing even more warmth and laughter into their extended family circle. The twins grinned mischievously and moved around with a Springer-like energy that was hard to ignore.

He was working with his brother, Yoongi, who had given Jimin his purpose and fulfilment. The two became unstoppable, acting with strong bonds and trust in one another that aided them in being able to do much more. Their leadership skills were coming through, and undying support Yoongi gave him that reach of confidence and feeling capable.

One sunny afternoon, Jimin stood at the sideline in the garden at their family estate while Minsu played with his cousin. With the sight of the three boys running around, he couldn't help letting out a giggle at their antics. Jungkook walked up beside him and slung an arm over Jimin's waist, pressing a kiss in the space between his temple and hairline.

"Look at them," Jungkook said, his voice warm and tender in affection. "Our little pack of troublemakers."

Jimin chuckled and leaned into Jungkook's embrace. "They are perfect, aren't they?"

"They are," Jungkook agreed, his eyes soft as he gazed at Jimin. "Just like you."

Jimin turned into his mate, his heart swelling with love. "I couldn't have asked for a better life, Kookie. Thank you for being with me through everything."

Jungkook smiled, his eyes shining with adoration. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, Jimin. You and Minsu are my everything."

Their family occupied the foreground as they stood there, looking on. Jimin felt his heart overflow with gratitude for the journey that brought them to this point in their life: hardships and classed struggles flee away, yielding to happiness with love and support that can be clung to.
