THIRD PERSON POV
Darkness.
Jungkook felt like he was surrounded by darkness, his heart hurting and his head spinning. He felt so powerless, like no one, not even his hyungie, could rescue him.
Jungkook dislikes being in the dark, yet he also discovers a sense of calmness in it. It's a way for him to escape from the hustle and bustle of social interactions.
Jungkook's head was pounding as he heard someone yelling, but the voice sounded strangely familiar to him.
Opening his eyes, Jungkook saw the ceiling fan spinning slowly above him, the curtains drawn shut, and the room feeling chilly enough for him to pull his blanket tighter around himself.
Jungkook rubbed his head and let out a big yawn before sitting up in bed. His head was still throbbing, and he couldn't recall how he got there. Looking around the room, he recognized his surroundings.
The room had a large brown king-sized bed, a study table next to it, a big wall mirror in front of the bed, family photos on one wall, and a window with drawn curtains on the other side.
The room was rather messy reflecting it's owner, Jungkook thought.
"Kim Taehyung! You really know how to get on nerves sometimes!"
Jungkook knew the voice right away, and then he heard another person calmly scolding someone else, saying,
"The more we overlook your foolishness, the more you find ways to mess up next time."
Namjoon hyung.
Jungkook rushed outside despite feeling a little lightheaded from the headache.
He stepped out and was greeted by three brothers.
Kim Seokjin, the eldest, kind-hearted but don't mess with him when he's angry.
Kim Namjoon, a bit serious but always looks for peaceful solutions.
Kim Taehyung.
"Hey Jungkookie!" Jin called out, "How are you doing, buddy?" Jin gently patted Jungkook's head, looking worried.
"My head hurts, but I'll be fine," Jungkook responded slowly.
"I'll whip up a hangover remedy for you, just go and get some rest," Jin said before heading towards the stairs where Taehyung was standing, his head hanging low.
Jin gave his head a light smack as he walked past.
As soon as Jin left, Taehyung rushed over to Jungkook and asked, "Are you feeling okay?" He then led him to his room.
"I'm fine, really," Jungkook replied, pulling his hand away from Taehyung's grasp.
"I'm sorry about last night," Jungkook apologized, looking down with guilt. He felt bad that Taehyung got scolded even though it wasn't his fault.
"You owe me a promise, Kookie," Taehyung said playfully as he hopped onto the bed, while Jungkook stood there clueless. "You said if I let you drink, you'd give hyungie a kissy," Taehyung teased, pointing to his cheeks.
Jungkook was so flustered, he said, "I would never make a promise like that, even if I drank ten bottles of soju!"
Taehyung laughed and whispered, "kookie, your new journey has begun."
Jungkook overheard Taehyung, recalling everything, feeling embarrassed, yet refusing to acknowledge the memory. Jungkook felt helpless once more.
The room door opened, kim seokjin entered the room with a hangover drink on tray he was holding.
