CHAPTER TEN

THIRD PERSON POV

Jungkook was sound asleep in the passenger seat as Taehyung drove, having been on the road for over half an hour. Taehyung was determined to satisfy his kookie's craving for hotteok, and the only place that came to his mind was Haeundae Beach.

After driving for forty minutes, Taehyung finally parked the car on the side of the road, arriving at their destination. Jungkook was still asleep, and Taehyung didn't want to disturb him, but he had no other option.

"Koo! Wakie wakie!" Taehyung said in a playful tone, trying to be funny.

Jungkook opened his eyes and looked at Taehyung, who was grinning at him.

"A beach?!" Jungkook exclaimed, "Yes! A beech!" Taehyung chuckled.

Jungkook shook his head, correcting him, "beach!" Taehyung vigorously noded his head in response.

"Come on, let's go!" Taehyung shouted excitedly before heading out into the bright sunlight.

Jungkook and Taehyung strolled together towards the beach, but Taehyung suddenly paused to check out a stall. "Wait here, I'll be right back," Taehyung informed Jungkook before walking over to the vendors selling different items.

Jungkook glanced around, realizing it had been ages since he last went to the beach. The sunny weather was perfect for soaking up some rays, and he couldn't wait to splash around in the ocean. Since it was a weekday, the beach wasn't as packed as it usually is on weekends.

Jungkook was taking in the view when Taehyung quietly hopped over Jungkook's shoulder, surprising him. "Isn't it awesome here?" Taehyung said as he handed Jungkook a straw hat and put one on himself.

"I'm starving! Let's grab some Hotteok before we hit the water!" Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's hand and led him to a crowded Hotteok stall.

"Hotteok for two, please" Taehyung asked the vendor while paying for it. As they waited for him to serve theirs, they looked around the surrounding.

"It's been a long time since I last visited this place," Jungkook mentioned to Taehyung, who grinned in response. "Are you enjoying it here?"

"Yeah, remember when we came here with our families?" Jungkook inquired.

"How could I forget? You were so tiny back then," Taehyung chuckled, causing Jungkook to roll his eyes. "If you recall, you were even shorter than me at that time," Jungkook pouted, "I don't understand how you managed to grow two inches taller than me."

Taehyung laughed at Jungkook's playful sulking and remarked, "Hyungie grew taller to protect kookie."

"Sure," Jungkook replied, shaking his head.

While they chatted, the vendor prepared the hotteok for them, and they eagerly dug in, relishing the sweet taste of the honey-filled treat.

After enjoying their treat, they sprinted towards the beach, their faces lit up with joy, grinning from ear to ear. Once they reached the shore, Jungkook jokingly shoved Taehyung into the water, chuckling mischievously as Taehyung plotted his revenge against the laughing boy.

"Hey! You evil bunnny!" Taehyung yelled and sprinted towards the bunny who was desperately trying to escape. Jungkook glanced back briefly to see the affectionate boy approaching him, causing him to ease his speed.

Jungkook couldn't believe his eyes as everything around him appeared to be moving in slow motion. He was completely captivated by the beauty, until he was suddenly pushed into the water, getting completely soaked. To his surprise, Taehyung then jumped over him in the water.
