Authors Note:
Okay, sorry for not updating sooner, but unfortunately, my ankle twisted pretty hard. I got myself a foot that looks like a pufferfish, so after taking x-rays and visiting the hospital, with God's grace, there was no fracture or anything. However, the pain and discomfort are still there. I tried to write, but I just couldn't, so finally, with my slow editing, I was able to have you guys read this chapter.
Hope you guys like it..

My eyes widened as I stepped outside the palace at the gate, and I inhaled the outside air to see the outside view rather than the one from my balcony, which I had watched for the last two days; my eyes caught Surya as she skipped towards a group of men who were standing awaiting. Behind them stood something that caught my eyes even more. The group of people stood, and chaos seemed to be happening. They were trying to calm a horse.
'Somebody, calm him!' one guy shouted.
A black horse that made me gasp and pulled my heartstrings towards it. Without realising, my legs moved as my gaze was fixed on the being standing majestic as its black skin shone in the sunlight. The horse neighed louder as it kicked its legs and tried to escape its holders.
I completely forgot that Surya and others existed as I neared the horse and raised my hand as if I had known it for a long time. Just like the horse calmed down, others moved away, giving the horse a way to shuffle through. Just as my eyes fixed on the horse, its eyes never moved from me.
The horse nuzzled its nose into my hands, and a tear leaked from my eyes as I chuckled out my tears. It felt familiar, and the actions seemed more natural. As I nuzzled myself into the horse's black coat and inhaled its scent, something triggered my memory, and my eyes widened.
'Kala,' I gasped as I whispered to the horse, and it neighed again to produce a happy sound.
'You remember?' Surya's voice made me look at my side. I looked around to see others hadn't heard my voice as they were trying to saddle a couple of horses, thankfully. I narrowed my eyes at her as I tilted my head.
'You remember your horse's name,' she said as she looked at me and the horse. I lifted my head to see the worst, who calmly laid his head back again into my neck and nuzzled.
I pointed out to the horse, and she nodded. So this is my horse, he is mine!
'Nobody could tame him; you are his first rider and would be his last too, 'cause he never allows anyone to ride him,' Surya finished. 'Seems the princess is remembering something' She smiled.
'It's great you remember the name; I guess it's a start.' Her words made me leave my dreamlike gaze and nod; maybe this is a start. I smiled as she slowly walked and went near a white horse. She quickly climbed at it and looked at me, raising her eyebrow. If I knew this horse, I would know how to ride one, right?
'Princess, May I help you?' Someone on my left held their hands, but I wanted to try myself. Others looked at me, not moving. I shook my head as I wanted to try for myself.
I slowly held the reins as I mounted my left leg, and the next thing I knew, my body just performed the tasks without even my command. As I sat at the Horse and looked around, I felt I was finally getting somewhere.
And just like that, I let Kala take me as I rode him, as his legs carried me faster, and I could hear others calling my name and Surys'a horse following me; I whipped my head and saw she was trying to catch me, but I don't want to stop or slow down. I halted my leg, and as I felt the wind caressing my hair, Kala jumped off the ledge in the middle of the way, and my hair began to lose and flow free, much like my heart now.
