(Y/N)'s POV:

I woke up before my morning alarm went off, feeling already energized and in a great mood. It's been about a week since it happened, but I still couldn't get the thought of Cherri out of my head since the night of the show. She had turned me into a bubbly, giddy mess. I couldn't help but to goofy-smile every time she crossed my mind.

I went through my morning routine to get ready for my day at work today, I've gone back to doing regular photoshoots every other day, like how it was before the announcement of the last show. When I'm finished with getting ready, I look into the mirror one last time to fix my hair. When I feel like it's as good as it's going to get, I head out the door and start making my way to work.

As I stepped into the studio, the air was alive with a buzz of activity. The soft hum of equipment filled the space, punctuated by the occasional click of cameras adjusting their settings. A team of stylists, makeup artists, and assistants greeted me with warm smiles and focused energy. I look around the room, and see someone I recognize.

"Fran?" I say excitedly as I walk towards her.

She turns her head to face my direction after hearing her name being called, "Y/n!" She smiles as she sees that it's me who was talking to her, "It's nice to see you again, how have you been?"

"I've been fantastic!" I blurted out, my face beaming with happiness as I remembered what had put me in such a great mood in the first place, "I've gotta tell you about what happened to me after the show!"

Fran put a hand on her hip, her interest piqued, "Do tell!"

I took a deep breath to try to compose their excitement before talking, "Well, after the show, Cherri stayed the night over at my house..."

Fran's eyebrows raise in anticipation, "And?! Go on!"

"And," I continued, "We kinda-"

"WAIT!" Francine shouts, slapping a hand over her mouth in shock. She had connected the dots, she already knew what I was going to say before I could say it. "Did you guys do what I think you did?!"

I nodded my head to say yes, and she gasped at my confirmation of her guess.

"Are you serious?!" She asked.

"Yeah, we actually did!"

She punches my arm playfully, "Good for you y/n!" She laughed, "I knew you had it it you!"

I rub my arm where she had punched me, she hit me harder than I expected she would

Right as I was about to say something to Fran, Marnie comes up to us. "Time to prepare to go on set!" She informed us.

"Oh, okay, thanks Marnie!" Fran thanks her, then faces me, "C'mon y/n," she nudges me to follow her, "Let's go get ready."

As we walk to the main working area, I realize that I haven't seen Ronnie this entire time. "Hey Fran?" I raise an eyebrow, turning to face her, "Is Ronnie here today?"

The smile on her face shifted into a solemn frown, "No," she sighs, turning her gaze to the floor, "He's back to working for Valentino." After I had asked her that question, her attitude had changed into a sad and worried one. I know how terrible Val can be, Angel had told me stories, and from the things I've heard about how he treats his employees, her reaction was understandable.

I couldn't help but feel bad for Ronnie.

AUTHORS NOTE:

Kind of a short chapter lol

I'm going 2 warn you guys about this next chapter that I'm writing, it goes into depth about Ronnie's struggles and trauma about being owned by Valentino. Please don't read it if it's going to be triggering for you, it won't affect the story if you just skip that chapter.

Have a great day/afternoon/night! <333
