very ooc (out of character)
no smutt, sry
Obanai's eyes followed Giyuu Tomioka as he moved around the classroom, cleaning up after everyone else. He seemed aloof to the world around him, focused solely on his task at hand. The light from the setting sun streamed in from the classroom windows, casting a golden hue on Giyuu's dark hair. Obanai was captivated.
With a sigh, Obanai pushed himself away from his desk and made his way over to where Giyuu was finishing up. He watched for a moment before finally clearing his throat and gaining Giyuu's attention.
"You missed that spot," Obanai said, pointing to a small smudge on the desk.
Giyuu nodded and reached for a tissue to clean it up. "Thanks."
Obanai leaned against the nearby wall, trying to act casual but feeling anything but. He had been harboring feelings for Giyuu for months now but had never worked up the courage to say anything. Today felt different though; there was something in the air that gave Obanai hope.
"So... uh... are you busy this weekend?" Obanai asked, mentally cursing himself as his voice cracked slightly.
Giyuu finished cleaning the desk and turned to face Obanai, clearly taken aback by the question. "Um... not really? Why?"
"Well..." Obanai started, pushing himself off of the wall and taking a step closer to Giyuu. "I was wondering if maybe you'd want to... go out? With me?"
There was a pause as Giyuu processed what he had just heard before finally nodding in agreement. "Okay."
A smile tugged at the corner of Obanai's lips as he felt a rush of excitement wash over him. "Great! How about we meet up at the park on Sunday afternoon? We can grab some ice cream or something."
Giyuu nodded again, a small smile of his own playing on his lips. "That sounds nice."
Obanai's smile grew as he felt a surge of confidence. He couldn't believe that this was actually happening, that Giyuu had agreed to go out with him. He took another step closer to Giyuu, his heart hammering in his chest.
"Hey... can I ask you something?" Obanai said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Giyuu met Obanai's gaze and nodded, encouraging him to continue.
Without thinking, Obanai reached out and gently grabbed the front of Giyuu's shirt, pulling him close. His mind went blank as he closed the remaining distance between them, capturing Giyuu's lips with his own.
At first, there was a moment of hesitation before Giyuu melted into the kiss. Obanai let out a soft sigh of relief and deepened the kiss, pressing their bodies closer together. He ran one hand through Giyuu's hair while the other rested on the small of his back.
After what felt like both an eternity and no time at all, they finally pulled away from each other. They were both breathing heavily; their faces flushed with a mixture of desire and surprise.
"I... uh... I've been wanting to do that for a while now," Obanai admitted, suddenly feeling shy again now that they weren't kissing anymore.
Giyuu smiled and leaned in close again so that their foreheads were touching. "I'm glad you finally did."
Obanai's heart skipped a beat at the words as he realized that he wasn't the only one who had been harboring these feelings. He felt like he was floating on air as he closed the small gap between them once more.
