Chapter 67: Movie Night with the Kohlis

The cozy living room was lit dimly by the TV screen as the iconic Bollywood film, *Kal Ho Na Ho*, played. Virat, Aashna, and Kiara were snuggled together on the couch, sharing a big bowl of popcorn. It was a perfect evening, wrapped in the warmth of family and nostalgia.

Kiara, nestled between her parents, watched the movie with wide eyes. She loved the songs and the colorful scenes, even though she didn't fully understand the deeper emotions. Aashna leaned into Virat, feeling a sense of contentment as they watched one of their favorite films together.

As the movie reached its emotional climax, with Aman revealing his illness and his heartfelt goodbye to Naina, Aashna felt a lump in her throat. She glanced at Virat and noticed his eyes glistening with unshed tears. He tried to blink them away, but one tear escaped and rolled down his cheek.

Aashna's heart melted at the sight. Virat, the strong and stoic cricketer, was deeply moved by the film. She nudged Kiara gently, whispering, "Look at Daddy."

Kiara looked up and saw the tear on Virat's cheek. Her eyes widened in surprise. "Daddy, are you crying?" she asked, her voice a mix of concern and curiosity.

Virat quickly wiped his cheek, attempting to compose himself. "No, no, it's just something in my eye," he muttered, trying to sound casual.

Aashna couldn't help but giggle softly. "It's okay, Virat. *Kal Ho Na Ho* gets to all of us. It's such a touching story."

Kiara, catching onto her mother's playful tone, decided to join in. "Daddy's crying because of the movie!" she declared, her voice full of innocent amusement.

Virat shot them both a mock glare. "Hey, it's a very emotional movie. I'm allowed to feel things, you know."

Aashna leaned closer, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Of course, you are. It's just adorable seeing you get all teary-eyed."

Kiara giggled, clapping her hands. "Daddy's adorable!"

Virat tried to maintain his irritation, but a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. He shook his head, pretending to be exasperated. "You two are impossible."

Just as Aashna and Kiara thought they had the upper hand, Virat's expression changed. A mischievous glint appeared in his eyes. "You think it's funny to tease me, huh? Well, I've got a master plan of my own."

Before Aashna could react, Virat lunged at her, fingers wiggling as he aimed for her sides. "Tickle attack!"

Aashna shrieked with laughter as Virat's hands found their target. "No, Virat! Stop!" she pleaded between giggles, trying to squirm away.

Kiara, caught up in the fun, joined her father's side. "Get her, Daddy!"

Virat grinned, his hands moving faster. "Oh, you think you're safe, Kiki? You're next!"

Kiara squealed, trying to evade her father's tickling fingers, but it was no use. Soon, all three of them were in a pile on the couch, laughing uncontrollably. Virat alternated between tickling Aashna and Kiara, making sure neither escaped his playful wrath.

Aashna, tears of laughter streaming down her face, tried to catch her breath. "Okay, okay! We surrender!"

Kiara, still giggling, nodded. "Daddy wins!"

Virat finally relented, collapsing back onto the couch, breathless but triumphant. He pulled both Aashna and Kiara close, hugging them tightly. "That's what you get for teasing me."

Aashna, still chuckling, nestled against him. "You definitely got us. But it was worth it to see you get so emotional over the movie."

Virat smiled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Well, it is a beautiful story. And I have my own beautiful story right here with both of you."

Kiara, now calmer, snuggled closer. "We love you, Daddy."

Virat's heart swelled with love. "I love you both more than anything."

The movie continued to play in the background, but the real magic of the evening was the love and laughter shared between them. It was moments like these that made life truly special. As the credits rolled, they remained cuddled together, feeling grateful for their little family and the happiness they brought into each other's lives.
