I jumped up and ran into Gemma's room where she was screaming. At first I thought it was a scared scream, but as I inspected the expression on her face it was an exciting scream. "Broo-Broo-Brooklyn!" She looked at me in a crazed state. I stood there and while Brooklyn nodded laughing. "The one and only!" I smiled. "Gemma, don't make him deaf okay?" She nodded and grinned. I smiled at how happy she was, however, she must've had lots to drink if she couldn't even remember meeting him. I laughed closing the door behind me. Nathan was stood in the middle of the kitchen, hair all messy scratching his head. "Whatcha looking for?" I smile at him as he turns around. "I was going to make food but we have nothing." I nod. "That's because when in America you go to Cheesecake Factory for brekkie." He laughs softly walking over to me.

I wrap my hands around his neck and he wraps his around my waist. "Excited for tonight?" I ask looking up at him and he nods. "Yeah, I'm always nervous before I go on stage though. Sound check is at 5 though, so we need to be there before." I laughed nodding. Whenever he said that I knew we were going to be late because Nath tied in with Gemma timing, we'd be lucky to get there during sound check, never mind before. Nathan seemed to somehow to know what was going on. "And I'm sure wherever Brooklyn goes she'll go so we might even get there early!" I sniggered before wiggling my way out of Nathan's grasp around my waist. "I best tell them to get up then." I smiled and walked over to Gemma's bedroom.

I opened is quietly and peeked my head in only to see Gemma and Brooklyn locking lips. My mouth dropped before giggling and closing the door quickly. Nathan was staring at me confused. "Shall we get ready?" I smiled quickly walking into the bathroom to have a shower trying to avoid Nathan's questions about what I had seen. I didn't want to tell him about what I'd seen because I wouldn't want her to do it to me so I decided I wouldn't do it to her.

Once I showered I put some shorts on and a crop top on with my white converse. It was very hot today. I put my floral crown on and the proceeded to do my makeup. I rummaged around in my makeup bag until I found my concealer and when I looked up Gemma was stood right behind me. "WHAT THE!!" I screamed turning around. Gemma burst out laughing. "You're an idiot, an idiot who better get dressed quickly otherwise we'll go to Cheesecake Factory without you." She shook her head vigorously and ran back into her room to get ready. I laughed to myself as I kept applying my makeup.

After 2 hours of getting ready Gemma finally walked out of her room, Brooklyn following behind her. The smile radiating on her face told me she wasn't just getting ready in that bedroom. I shook my head not bothering to ask questions as I gathered myself. "Right you two we aren't coming back here do anything you want you have to grab." They nodded and both grabbed their phone and their purse/wallet. Nathan was already in the car so I was just waiting for Brooklyn and Gemma to hurry up. Eventually after slowly going round the house both of them exited the apartment which allowed me to lock the door. "If you both don't hurry up and get in that car soon I am not going to be impressed." I proceeded to speak but in a quieter tone. "Also, I know what you've been doing, kissing and what not." I looked at Gemma and grinned. "You go girl." We both laughed before getting into the car.

Once at the Cheesecake Factory we ordered way too much food for 4 people. I watched Gemma and Brooklyn taste each other's food and I smiled. I had never seen Gemma be so confident around someone like Brooklyn. She was normally quite shy and withdrawn if she didn't know the person and the fact Brooklyn had managed to coax the Gemma I know and love out was amazing. I began going into a daydream when Nathan brushed his hand over mine which made me come out of my daydream. "Sorry." He spoke I look at him and smiled. He just have knew what I was going to ask because he started speaking before I even managed to get a letter out. "For so long I have wanted to hug you, kiss you, hold your hand, sleep in the same bed as you, cuddle with you...and look at us. This awesome thing happens where after penpalling for so long we finally meet and it's like I've known you all my life." I smile listening to him not realising Gemma and Brooklyn have stopped what they're doing and are listening into the conversion we were having. "Don't worry, this isn't a marriage proposal." He looks at me which makes me laugh in a relief kind of way more than anything. Don't get me wrong, I probably, no I would marry him in a heartbeat but it wouldn't be fair getting into such a commitment without being with him for so long. "What I'm trying to say is, I love you." I smile and kiss him softly. I look over to Brooklyn and Gemma who are still staring at us, Gemma more than Brooklyn admittedly. "Aw Lauren." Brooklyn says smiling at Gemma.

4PM
After finishing in the Cheesecake Factory Gemma and I decided to go shopping before sound check for Nathan. Brooklyn had to go back to his penthouse to check in and Nathan wanted to check out a piano shop, so we decided to shop till we literally dropped.
"I can't believe it." Gemma grinned. "I actually kissed Brooklyn." I smiled and laughed. "Yes you did!" We both squealed with excitement. "I remember when we were both 17 and we used to sit in your bedroom and talk about the day when we'd get married or find boyfriends or travel or anything and look where we are at now. We've done it, apart from the marriage and kids bit but still. Lauren, we've done it." I smiled listening to Gemma, all the things she was saying brought back some of the best memories of my life and I w0uld/will cherish the moments until the day I die.

After finishing shopping we ran to get a taxi which would take us to Coachella. We sat in the back chatting away about all the things we would be able to do when we moved out to America and everything we could accomplish. "I knew we'd be late for his sound check." I told Gemma laughing. "Don't blame me! You're the one who wanted to buy a dress, no matter how pretty that is, you're the one who's making us late, it's not Gemma timing this time." I laughed at Gemma. "Oh shush!" I tell her laughing.

All of a sudden I heard a loud bang come from in front of us, I tried to see what it was and after a short discussion with the driver we established it was a car crash. The taxi driver stopped the car and before we knew or could react there was a second bang and this time, not only did we hear it, but it had crashed into us. Everything went black.

I can't remember much of what happened. All I remember is it all went black. I remember hearing sirens and people yelling in the background. An awful heat was also surrounding me but I couldn't move. I couldn't open my eyes. I was aware of everything happening around me I just couldn't react to anything.

All of a sudden there was an almighty scream. I noticed the scream it was Gemma.
"Help me! Help me!" She screamed. I wish I could help her. I wish I could comfort her. All I could feel was pain. The heat was getting stronger and stronger. Everything went dark.
