chapter 39. The visit

Aaniya pov.

The night has taken place, I have been in my room since the lunch, like its awkward but also I am trying to contact shifa.

Because after that conversation I am feeling scared, like something about her is not right, or is she in trouble.

Something is very serious but suspicious at the same time.

After praying isha I have been calling her and it's near ten.

So yeah I have called her many times, but sometimes she doesn't pick up, and sometimes it's busy.

I sighed heavily as I typed her number and tapped on enter,

As I tried to track her mobile.

I started my work on the laptop, but the location of her made me shocked.

On the road of khan industry, 

She is near, but how and why?

I looked at her exact location and yeah she is at the next alley, I just kept staring at her location,

Then a thought came in my mind, as I wished it to not be true but you know sometimes you find a bitter truth in your worst situation, so yeah that happened to me also.

Yusuf and shifa are at the same location, is she included with them, how can she?

This mere thought made me feel pathetic, how can she?

A wave of sadness flushed through me.

"Why the people I trust the most are going away?" I whispered to myself.

"To make you realise that not everyone is worth of your trust" I looked up and saw arhan entering the room,

As he flipped the laptop towards him, "who is she?" He asked,

"My childhood friend, but I don’t know how she came in contact with Yusuf, she was one of the best friend I ever had" I said, using the past tense and arhan noticed it too.

He looked at me concern, because I sounded too much low. 

I don't know what kind of relation shifa share with Yusuf but she knew that he is my cousin she should have informed me.

I saw him nodding his head, while my eyes didn't moved from the screen, black dots started forming in front of my eyes,

"You will pay for this"

"Don't make me force you"

The memories with shifa hit my mind,

From making me sure that I should trust her.

"I can't betrayal you not even in dreams"

"Trust me"

To betraying me,

"I called you to tell you that, be careful while your plane take off"

Tears formed in my eyes, I blinked my eyes few times avoiding the tears,

As I looked up at him feeling his gaze, I want to go there,

"I want to go there" I said as I felt his confused gaze,

"You want to but you can't" he answered,

"Why?" I asked, "You can't just go there and risk your life, let me handle this" he said with an eyes that says trust me.

"W-we can go there?" I half questioned, "there is no 'we' in this situation" he said giving special attention to the word we,

"I will take care of it" he completed, in hope i will agree.
