"𝗙𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀!" 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗼𝘁—also known as Eijirou Kirishima, one of her best friends—called out to her. "On it!" Fangs—known as (Y/n) (L/n)—exclaimed, speeding after the villain.
The villain they were facing was a low-life criminal, inexperienced and clearly out of his depth. The villain's quirk involved glass manipulation, allowing them to hurl sharp shards or phase through glass surfaces.
"They disappeared into the glass again!" (Y/n) spoke into her earpiece, walking on the wall of the building.
Suddenly, a loud explosion reverberated, sending glass shards flying everywhere. (Y/n) quickly morphed into a bat, deftly maneuvering through the air to avoid the deadly fragments.
(Y/n) heard Kirishima groan through the earpiece once she returned into a human.
"Are you okay?" he asked. "I didn't get hurt because of my hardening quirk, just a few light scrapes."
"Yeah, I'm okay," (Y/n) replied. "I'm looking for the criminal."
Since it was nighttime, (Y/n) activated her night vision ability. She could see someone moving inside the dimly lit structure with the building now devoid of glass.
Suddenly, glass shards flew towards her. Swiftly, (Y/n) used her speed ability to dodge them, narrowly avoiding the deadly projectiles.
As she dodged the shards, (Y/n) spotted the villain trying to escape through another window. Determined, she surged forward, her speed making her a blur in the dim light.
"Kirishima, they're trying to get away!" she reported through the earpiece.
"I'm on it!" Kirishima responded, his voice steady despite the chaos. He hardened his body and prepared to intercept the villain.
(Y/n) closed the distance, her eyes locked on the criminal. With a burst of speed, she tackled them, sending them both tumbling to the ground. The villain struggled, but (Y/n)'s grip was strong—due to her enhanced strength ability.
"Got you now," she said, panting slightly.
Kirishima arrived moments later, securing the villain with his unbreakable grip.
"Great job, Fangs," he said, giving her a thumbs-up.
(Y/n) smiled, relieved. "Teamwork makes the dream work," she replied sarcastically as she laughed.
(Y/n)'s quirk, known as Vampire—or Vamp, as she likes to call it—is an impressive and versatile ability. The user possesses enhanced strength, speed, and agility. Additionally, they have several unique abilities:
Shadow Warping: They can slip through shadows, moving within them and emerging from them.
Night Vision: When activated, they can see perfectly in darkness.
Bat Transformation: The user can transform into a bat.
Hypnotism: By looking someone in the eyes, their own eyes glowing red, they can hypnotize anyone.
Blood Type Determination: They can determine a person's blood type simply by smelling them.
Wall Adhesiveness: They can walk effortlessly on any wall or ceiling.
Enhanced Healing: The user possesses an enhanced healing ability, enabling them to heal at a rate faster than that of the average human.
𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The ability to manipulate and exert influence over blood. However, (Y/n) is still working on mastering this ability.
Despite her quirk being named Vampire, (Y/n) doesn't exhibit typical vampire traits—since she was born as a human—such as needing to drink human blood, being affected by sunlight, or lacking a reflection—she does indeed have one.
However, (Y/n) does possess fangs that retract, meaning they only extend when she chooses to reveal them.
"Thanks a lot, we'll be sure to turn this guy in," a police officer said as they placed quirk-canceling cuffs on the criminal caught by Fangs and Red Riot.
"About time, that guy was so not manly," Kirishima complained as the duo headed to Alliance 3A at the Yuuei High residence.
(Y/n) headed to the dorm's kitchen to get an ice pack for the bruise on her shoulder. "Yeah, I just hope this doesn't become swollen later," she muttered to herself, wincing slightly as she applied the cold pack.
"How come it didn't heal?" Kirishima questioned, taking a swig from a bottle of water. "It's because I don't have much energy," (Y/n) replied, rubbing her shoulder where the bruise persisted.
"Well, there's nothing Recovery Girl can't handle," Kirishima joked.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll go see her in the morning if I'm still low on energy. Goodnight, Eijirou," (Y/n) replied with a small smile, heading off to her dorm room.
As she opened the door to her room, she heard another door open nearby. A blonde-haired guy with eyes the color of vermillion emerged from his room, causing (Y/n) to halt in her tracks.
The guy's eyes made contact with (Y/n)'s as they stood in silence, neither of them looking away. However, (Y/n) broke the eye contact and quickly entered her room, closing the door behind her.
To say that Katsuki Bakugou's personality has improved over the years is an understatement. Back in their first year at Yuuei, Katsuki started to change, becoming less angry over time. He even apologized to the person he had once despised the most—Izuku Midoriya.
Despite this progress, the close bond that (Y/n) and Katsuki once shared became strained by the end of their first year, leaving (Y/n) still puzzled as to why. To make matters worse, they are in the same friend group, which means there is always tension whenever they are in the same place.
(Y/n) sighed as she changed out of her hero attire and made her way to bed after a soothing shower.
This was going to be a long year.
