As (Y/n) finished her morning run—something she rarely did—near the Yuuei campus, she began to head back, wiping the sweat off her face. While nearing the building, she noticed a trail of something red leading into an alleyway. Curiosity piqued, she followed the trail, finding a body surrounded by blood.

Near it, written in blood, were the words: "I'm coming for you -DE." (Y/n) placed a hand over her mouth, stifling the urge to vomit as she dialed the police. The words on the ground were unsettling, and while they could be meant for anyone, a part of her feared they were directed at her, connected to the Death Eater.

"(L/n), this is the second time you've called about a dead body related to the Death Eater," Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi said, his tone serious. "If I didn't know your background, I'd consider you a suspect."

"I'm just as confused as you are," (Y/n) responded, frustration edging her voice. "Do you think I want to be seeing this?"

The detective sighed, the weight of the case evident in his expression. "Look, this is one of our toughest cases since the days of Shigaraki and All for One. I need you to stay safe; this could end up badly."

(Y/n) nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Now go to class; you're already late," Detective Tsukauchi added, his tone softening slightly.

(Y/n) headed back to Yuuei, her mind racing with thoughts of the unsettling message and the growing danger.

"Where have you been the first two periods?" Denki asked his cousin as they headed to the cafeteria.

"I overslept," (Y/n) lied. The school had been notified of the morning's events, which caused her to be late, but she had been sworn to secrecy by her teachers and was not allowed to reveal anything about what had happened earlier.

"But you never miss a class," Denki persisted.

(Y/n) had learned that Denki would keep asking until she gave a plausible reason, remembering the persistence from the 'fish' incident.

"People change. I slept late last night," (Y/n) replied, another lie, since she had actually slept soundly at ten the previous night.

"Damn, okay," Denki finally let the topic drop as they sat with their friends.

"The debate of the day, Winter or Summer? Winter is so much better!" Mina exclaimed.

"No, Summer is when you get to go to the beach and have fun. Winter is when we study and have school," Sero countered.

"I already told you, Hanta, you can go to the beach during Winter too! At least you won't boil to death."

"Well, at least I don't freeze to death during Summer."

"Let's have a vote," Mina suggested. "All in favor of Summer, say 'I.'"

Only Sero and a grunt from Katsuki voted for Summer.

"All in favor of Winter, say 'I.'" Mina continued, and everyone else voted for Winter, winning five to two. "Yes, told you!"

"Why'd you vote for Summer, Bakubro?" Kirishima asked his best friend.

"Because of my quirk. Explaining it to you would be pointless; your dumb excuse for a brain wouldn't register it," Katsuki replied as Kirishima, in a dramatic gesture, placed a hand over his heart as a joke.

"You seem quiet," Kyoka nudged (Y/n), breaking her from her thoughts.

"Huh? Oh—I'm just thinking about my study plans, yeah."

"But you never put much thought into studying and always get good grades..." Denki pointed out.

"People fucking change, Denki!" (Y/n) snapped, causing everyone at the table to stare at her in shock.
