Around 7pm that evening, the group of witches and weapons headed back to Death City to have dinner together. Kim's treat since Maka happened to be a good student in magic, just like in school work.
"I feel so proud of my little student." Kim said, patting Maka on the head, "Maybe I'm good enough to be a teacher one day."
Jackie shook her head.
"And now I'm going to have to listen to this for the next month." She said.
They heard a noise nearby.
"... Anyone else hear that?" Soul asked.
"Maybe it's Blair digging through the trash again." Maka suggested.
The gunfire said otherwise. The group ran and saw a group of Kishin's around a person with two pistols. Upside down, if one was observant.
This person wore an impressive black suit with certain white parts, as well as a rather unique hair style of a black bowl cut with white lines.
All of them on one side of his head, perfectly straight.
"It's him." Kim whispered, "That's Lord Death's son... Death the Kid."
Kid twirled his pistols in his hands before pointing them at the Kishin and firing rapidly!
"GUH!" One screamed!
"UGH!" Another screamed.
One kishin dodged the bullets before rushing at Kid, throwing a punch but Kid ducked and kicked his feet out before punching him in the chin with his left gun and firing!
Blowing his head off!
'He's taken them down like their nothing.' Maka thought in awe. 'And those gunshots, they're compressed soul wavelength attacks.'
He turned and kicked another one before shooting it in the face, and then punching another and jumping into the air!
"Rain of Death." He said, turning to the ground and spinning while firing a storm of bullets.
This ended the fight as Death the Kid landed perfectly in a T-shape pose.
"Another easy night." He said, tossing his pistols into the air behind him, "Liz, Patty, come along, we have to collect the souls."
The two guns glowed as they transformed and landed behind Kid, becoming two teenage girls that dressed very similar but with key differences.
One girl was taller with dirty blonde hair that reached her shoulders while the short girl had normal blonde hair that barely reached her neck. Both wore cowboy hats, red sweater vest, and boots but the taller girl had full jeans while the short girl had puffy jean shorts.
"Sure. How many we got?" Liz, the taller girl, asked.
"I think 14." Patty, the shorter girl, said.
"Which can be perfectly split between the two of you." Kid said, with a firm nod. "I believe it's a good place to stop for the night, we are busy tomorrow after all."
"Yeah, first day at the academy." Liz said, "You excited, Kid?"
"Indeed, a chance to further my skills and get me ready to take over for my father upon his retirement." Death the Kid said.
"I can imagine he is ready for that soon, after more than 800 years, I'd be ready to sit back and do nothing for a while." Liz said, putting her hands behind her head.
"Indeed, however that is still a ways away." Kid said, "Let's gather the souls and head home."
"Me first!" patty said before turning back into a gun, landing in Liz's hand.
'What's she doing?' Soul and Jackie thought.
Like a normal gun, Liz pulled out the bullet sleeve and somehow drew seven kishin souls inside of gun/Patty.
"There, a nice helping of souls, sis." Liz said, putting the bullet sleeve back in. "Now for me."
"Okkie dokkie!" Patty said as she and Liz transformed, switching spots.
"They look like older and younger sisters, yet their weapon forms are the same. That's rare." Jackie whispers.
"Yeah, just shows they're in another league." Soul whispered.
"I think we should get moving, it's rude to spy." Maka whispered.
"Agreed." Kim said.
The four of them quickly slipped away without Death the Kid or his weapon partners knowing.
The next time they would see him, it would be at the DWMA.
