CHELSEA SPENCER
Maddie just just left to Minneapolis. I'm getting ready to take a flight to San Diego for Thanksgiving.
But...
I need to drive. It's a 41-hour drive and I have to take my car with me. This is going to bore me to death.

Can I just not go? I mean, I miss my parents but would they make it worth it?

God, I'm so indecisive. The dorms are literally empty now. What was I thinking? And it's a 41 hour drive? Maybe 50 for me.

I feel like curling up into a ball in the dorm room and probably crying myself to sleep.

Where are you?
—Will.

Oh my God. That just gave me the heebie-jeebies.
What is wrong with him? Oh, there's a party tonight to sort  of send each other off for the break. He must think I'm there.

I ignore him.

His car rolls up at my dorm a few hours later. I'm scared. I'm literally alone. And stuck.

Come out or I'll break in
—Will.
How did he know I was in here?
Be my guest. It's school property. Plus, he doesn't even know my room number.

I ignore him. I see him get out of his car.

Well, thinking about it now,  I might need some help getting my stuff in the car but this devil .... I wish it was Myles. Or Adrian.

I get down to meet him.

'What?' I ask.

'You're not at the party, ' He says

I roll my eyes and ignore him.

I start packing stuff into my car.

He just watches me. I groan under the weight of literally everything. Now the booth won't close. Ugh.

Then something strange happens. He moves over and takes out everything I packed.

'What the hell?' I ask, mad.

'You literally just watched me work my butt off trying to get those things to fit and now you're...' I start to complain and trail off as he gets everything to fit with ease.

'Where are you going?' He asks.

'Thanks but it's none of your business,' I snap and grab my keys. It's 8:30. Wow, Chels.

Thanksgiving's in two days.

'Okay,' he says, getting in his car. The thought of driving for such a long time creeps me out. But the thought of letting him help me is creepier.

'San Diego!' I scream, just as he grabs the steering wheel.

'Goodluck,' he says, starting the car.

He leaves. My heart drops as I get in my car. I literally doze off and wake up at 11pm.

It's a 41 hour drive.
— I text Will.

Can't you drive?
—Will.

I ignore him.  I sleep off again until his car honks and wakes me up.

The view is blurry but I can see he really came back for me.

I get out of the car.

'You slept outside?' he asks, his brows furrowing.

What is up with him?

I just get in his car, my eyelids drooping with sleep.

*********
I wake up in Will's house.

A/n: This is what Will's house looks like inside:

'You want to take your car to San Diego?' He asks.
