—"Pfft... hahaha!" Ace laughed, "I... I can't hold it in anymore! Ahahahahaha!"

Grim's eyes widened. "Myaaah!?"

"You guys are the ones who caused the riot at orientation, right?" Ace smirked. "The uninvited monster... and the girl with the weird hair who can't even use magic! I was desperately trying to keep my composure during the ceremony!"

You froze, and your already fading smile dropped off of your face. You looked away from his face, deciding to make eye contact with the statue of the lion as you desperately blinked away the light stinging in your eyes.

"You two couldn't become students, so you became janitors? That's so lame!" Ace continued, disregarding your feelings entirely. "Plus, how don't you even know about the Great Seven? Go to kindergarten before thinking of enrolling at this school! Ha!"

Grim growled, and you realized what was about to happen because of Gyomei's cats.

"I have classes to get no, unlike you, so I'll see you around! Haha!" Ace waved and turned to leave.

"Hey! I'm not letting you talk to me or my henchwoman like that!" Grim yelled, and you turned to face him, eyes shining. "You take that back, ya hear me?!" To punctuate his statement, he shot a fireball at the ginger.

"Woah!" The ginger yelped. "What the hell, dude?!"

"I'll explode your hair even more than it already is!" Grim threatened.

"I'll turn you into a toy poodle!" Ace teased as he lifted his magic pen.

Grim exhaled a ball of fire, and Ace used wind magic to deflect the fireball back towards him.

I need to do something, or Crowley-sama will be mad... You thought, and you got an idea.

"Oh, is there a fight going on?" One student asked.

"Yeah, get his ass!" Another student cheered.

"Can't hit me with your puny fireballs, huh~?" Ace egged Grim on, and the monster hissed.

"I'm about to, you twink!" Grim insulted.

—As Grim shot another fireball, you pulled Ace away from the fight, throwing off his wind magic so it didn't hit the Queen of Hearts's statue. Due to your miscalculation of your own strength, Ace flew into the crowd and landed on another student.

"Ow! What the fuck!?" The other student yelled, and he shoved Ace off of him.

You blushed (ignore if your insert character's skin is darker/replace with another word) and cupped your (face) cheeks as you embarrassedly apologized to the other student, completely ignoring the ginger. The student had dark purple hair, and wore a red and gold armband around his left arm.
