Error's POV

  The sounds of my footsteps bounced against the walls of the hallway as I walked towards my office. After I was woken up earlier than usual, I decided that it was a good time to write the letters that Beatrice and Xander were going to send to the vampire lords.

  When I turned the corner, I saw the double doors that led to my office. The guards that were stationed there were gone as normally I was asleep at this time. I opened the doors but I would soon regret that decision.

  As soon as the doors creaked open and I stepped into the room, I was blinded by sunlight. I felt unbearable burning on my face and hands, the second worst pain for a vampire. After saying a few choice words I quickly closed the door and found safety in the darkness of the hallway.

  Looking at my hands, I saw the devastating burn markings that covered the entirety of them and noticed how badly they were trembling. The damage was most likely the same, if not worse, on my face. All of that damage was caused only within a few seconds.

Me: Oh yes, I forgot that I threw my desk out the window.

  Luckily it did not take long for my wounds to start healing. Again only within a few seconds, the burns grew smaller and fainter until it looked as if nothing had happened.

'I suppose I am not going to write letters, I prefer my life more than a sunlit room. Thank you father for passing down your quick regeneration.'

After deciding that going into my office was not worth the burns, I traced my steps and walked back through the silent hallway. My next destination was the dining room as it has been a few days since I last fed and I was getting quite hungry.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I sat in my chair at the dining room. The chalice of blood that was placed in front of me was sour in taste but it would have to do in order to satisfy me.
However there was one slight problem, there was a wolf within the borders of my kingdom. I picked up his scent a little while ago when he entered my territory and ever since then I have been tense.
As I tried to enjoy my meal as best I could, the doors opened to show a guard. He stood there and waited for me to acknowledge him.
Me: What?
Guard: We have the wolf.
Me: I know.
I released a sigh before standing from my chair. With a quick motion of my hand I motioned for him to the lead the way.
The walk through the dungeon was almost awkwardly silent. We walked past cells with criminals and tortured victims begging for mercy. They would soon know that their granted mercy would be them contributing to my kingdom's supply of blood. Criminals were the best method to get food as the other kingdoms did not mind when a few go missing.
At the far end of the dungeon were the werewolf cells, special holding units to contain the sheer strength of the mutts. In one of the cells was a familiar werewolf, one known as Reaper. He was chained up and had a muzzle over his face. I could hear the sounds of the silver burning him.
The mutt glared at me with pure rage.
Me: Take the muzzle off.
One of the guards carefully took it off which revealed the small burns across his mouth and cheeks. It was nothing compared to what I went through earlier.
Reaper: I would love to know why I was so rudely kidnapped and thrown into a cage.
The stray growled through slight pain.
Me: The dungeon was their idea, I was just wanted them to retrieve you for me.
Reaper: Great. So why did you want me "retrieved"?
Me: A few members of your pack attacked Kilkree during the night of the liberation festival.
He did not say anything for a second.
Reaper: And I have to care about this why exactly? That pack disowned me years ago for being a bastard. If you want me to give up secrets, you are out of luck. I know absolutely nothing about the lunar pack.
Me: ... Very well. He is free to go then and... send him home with venison.
I turned to walk away but the mutt mumbled quietly.
Reaper: Is Ink safe?
Me: He is. You have no need to worry about Ink's safety since you are too busy fawning over Geno. Safe travels mutt.
Before I was able to walk away again, he spoke out once more.
Reaper: Wait. I have proposition for you. I can help you in the war.
Me: How so?
Reaper: You help me take back my pack, and I will then help you win the war.
Me: I do not think werewolves will be happy helping their enemy.
Reaper: Werewolves are willing to do anything if it also the will of their alpha.
I thought for a few minutes. Having someone knowledgeable of the werewolf race could prove useful and if he decided to betray me, by that time I would be powerful enough to kill every single one in that pack including him...
