I walk through Marshall's Grill after school, swerving around the other waiters and waitresses. Both of my arms are full of food and drinks, which I deliver to their correct tables.
I brush my hands on my apron and glance around the room. My eyes set upon a table of people who have no yet been served. I grab my pen and notepad out of my pocket and make my way over.
"Hello, my name is Davis and I will be your server today," I say as I scribble the table number down on the pad of paper.
"Hey, Davis. Remember us?" A familiar voice asks. I look up and smile. The three teens sit, looking at me.
"Ya," I say and point to Darren. "You're the guy that tried to order a beer." I watch in amusement as Darren's cheeks flush, and Alexia laughs.
"That's Darren," Alexia says, flipping her brown hair over her shoulder. "Always trying to act cooler than he actually is."
Lynn, I think her name is, rolls her eyes and adds "As if Darren's cool. His reputation is strictly because Zeke is his brother."
I raise my eyebrow in Darren's direction. "Wait, Zeke is your brother?"
Darren looks at me with his dark eyes and nods. "We're twins. You know him?"
Alexia, who sits by herself on the other side of the booth, motions for me to sit with them.
"Sort of," I say, before correcting myself. "Well, not really. I've talked to him once when he was with Hunter."
"Hunter?" Lynn says, disgust clear in her voice. "I've only known him for a few days and all I can say is that he's an ass."
"Really?" I ask. It kind of shocks me that she would say that. From my experience with him, he's a really great guy.
"Well, yeah. He hangs out with Zeke and his friends," Lynn looks at Darren, "No offence bro."
"None taken," he says. "I know how he is." He shrugs his shoulders and focuses his attention on the table.
I watch them bicker for a minute before standing up.
"Where are you going?" Alexia's voice is kind, and she looks at me with her face scrunched up.
"I've got to work," I say, chuckling. "Do you guys want anything?"

It's our first day back at the community center after the holidays. Ms. Martin decided that for the first day back, we were to get in groups and create a dance routine to perform for the class. I am currently sitting on the floor with Adrian and Eddie, debating on a song.
"It shouldn't be this hard to pick a song," Adrian moans in complaint. He lies on his stomach facing us. "Some groups have already started choreographing."
"Well, if we could all agree on a song..." I trail off. I wear an over sized shirt and spandex shorts. The shirt is back, white and grey tie dyed with the word PVRIS.
Eddie stares at my shirt for a few seconds before speaking. "Why don't we dance to White Noise?"
I nod, smiling. I love that song. We both glance over at Adrian who shakes his head. "I honestly don't care, let's just get on with it."
I poke Adrian in the side and he squirms. He lifts his head and mock glares at me. "What did you do that for?"
"You're being all grumpy," I state, crossing my arms. "Whats wrong?"
"I haven't eaten in like 2 hours. And my stomach is telling me to go get a burger." He grabs the non existent fat on his stomach and says in a caveman voice. "Me tummy hungry. Tummy want food."
