'Ponine's POV

You must be wondering why my brother and I are stuck at Duschene's dorm.

Mum and Dad are...well, let's say, stuck in another dimension, or rather on a different period, specifically, 1832.

Yes, you just read right. Mum and Dad are stuck in the past meanwhile, Gavie and I, yes, we are at a modern universe. How did we get in an academy, you ask? Well, we still have a living relative. It's my Aunt Mercedes. 

It's a good thing that my Aunt believed us, because if she didn't, well, Gav and I are screwed.

"Ponine!! Hurry up! We need to get our schedules today, right?", my little brother asked me.

I looked at him and nodded, "Yes, Gavie. Just let me finish unpacking, okay? Then we'll go to the registrar to get our schedules, is that okay with you?"

He nodded and went off again, I smiled at his excitement. I rarely see Gavroche smile ever since the day of the barricades, now was a good sight to see him smile.

Oh. You must be wondering why was I talking about the day of the barricades. I, myself , my brother came from another time too. Unbelievable, huh? But it just happened, I don't know how though, I just remembered taking the bullet from a National Guard and everything blacked out. For a moment, I thought I was dead, but when I opened my eyes, I was met by modern buildings and the like.

I was never dead all along. I was just transported to another lifetime. And I am revamping a life.

When Gavroche and I were making our way to the registrar's office, we stumbled upon a boy who looked oh so familiar to me, okay cross out the familiar part. I know him alright. Because he took in my brother when I wasn't around.

I was about to say something when he ran to me and nearly crushed me into a hug. Typical Courfeyrac, even after those years, he didn't change. Wait, was he really here? Then that means the rest of the barricade boys are here too? I am confused. I thought that me and Gavie are the only ones who landed here.

"Courfeyrac..c-c-can't breathe.", I muttered between gasps of air. Damn, this guy will be the death of me.

He let me go immediately then ruffled Gavie's hair, "Sorry 'Ponine. I just can't believe that you're here." 

I rolled my eyes at him, "I can't believe that you're here too. But that doesn't give you the right to crush me in a hug."

He smiled and ruffled Gavie's hair, "Hi kid! So you're also be here at Duschene, huh?"

I rolled my eyes at Courf, his baby talks will seriously be the death of me if not his hugs, gaah.  

Another person joined us, oh my god!! Jehan and Combeferre are here too? OH MY GOD! This is going to be fun!
