Chapter 8 - A 'peaceful' weekend

*Izuku POV*

I groaned swatting at Toga. She had been shaking my shoulder for the past ten minutes, trying to make me give her attention.

It was working.

Izu: "What Toga."

Toga: "I'm bored. Can we scare them?"

Izu: "Them who."

Toga: "The ghost of Christmas past."

Izu: "They are the ones who do the scaring not us."

Toga: "Jeez. Get the sarcasm update Izu-kun. I meant the class."

I propped myself up on my elbows, now intrigued.

Izu: "How?"

Toga: "Y'know the song we used to sing when Dabi was being annoying?"

I grinned and pushed off the covers, climbing out of bed.

Izu: "What time is it?"

Toga: "Uh.. 'bout 2:40 I think."

Izu: "Perfect, nearly the witching hour."

Toga grabbed my upper arm and pulled me onto the landing. I grabbed my mask and pulled it on.

Izu: "Go tell the others what we are doing so they can watch their panic."

Toga grinned widely, nodding before running to a room, barging in. I heard muffled shouts before they quietened down. She came out and went to the next, repeating the process.

After a minute or two Shiggy, Dabi and Kats came out of their rooms, yawning and rubbing their eyes. I quickly explained what we were going to do.

Dabi: "Do you want us to go elsewhere so there is more of an echo?"

Toga: "Yas! Oooo! This is so fun! You guys know the lyrics so you can just join every second verse, that way there will be an effect. One of you be delayed, anoughter fast and one on time with Izu. That way it echoes more and throws them off.!"

Kats: "Toga. You. Are.. a f[]cking genius."

Toga: "Thank you! Now hurry! Hide where they can't find you, mabye take a floor apart on opposite sides near the balcony. And don't sing too loud or they will find you to easily!"

They all nodded and went down the stairs, trying to hold in their laughter.

Toga: "You ready?"

Izu: "F[]ck yeah."

*************Shinso POV**************

I yawned, sitting in the kitchen with a glass of water. Insomnia is the worst. Denki had fallen asleep at the counter, snoring softly. He had stayed down here with me as he didn't want me to be left alone with the villains have free reign around campus. I took a sip of water, listening to the silence. It was nice, how peaceful it was. A chiming noise came from the main room, marking the hour. I counted the chimes.

2...

3...

Three am. Witching hour. As i thought it an eerie noise echoed from the main room.

???: "Ding Dong,
I know you can hear me,
Open up the door,
I only want to play a little."

I ran into the main room, looking around for the source. A second voice took it up, echoing around the atrium.

???2: "Ding Dong,
You can't keep me waiting,
It's already too late,
For you to try and run away."

Denki ran out of the kitchen, bashing into me as he looked around wildly. Mina and Tsu rushed down the stairs, crying out in terror.
