[An: Hey all! Uhm- yeah I messed up the timeline- the event of the attack was two years ago, not four years ago. I am getting events confused so I apologise-. This entire chapter can be triggering so i suggest not reading if you arent comfortable with blood, death, medical conditions, neuropsychiatric conditions and other sensitive topics. Any medical advice in here is as close to correct as possible, however always speak to a doctor do not follow this incase i have miss written it, i am not a trained medical professional. Look for the [✔️] so you know that the main upsetting part is over.]
**Izu POV**
I was frozen. I couldn't move. I wasn't able to blink or look away. I wasn't able to breathe, let alone cry. Kacchan just stood beside me, silent tears were falling down his face.
Izu: "K- kacchan.. a- are.."
I managed to gain enough mobility to move forwards to a lamppost at the end of the street, holding onto it tightly. Coughing at the dust I looked over at -what had been- my home. It wasn't much of a home now though.
My block of flats had been situated in the middle of the street, overlooking the field and a large road. It had blocked the field before, now you could see it clearly. My home was now a pile of rubble and dust. The entire building had caved in on itself, only part of the ground floor walls still standing. I just stood there and watched, the rescue heroes running around, trying to get the trapped civillians out. I hoped they were okay- the people on the bottom and top floors could have been severly injured as the building collapsed.
Izu: "kacchan- do you think that the people living there are okay.."
Kacchan didn't answer me.
Izu: "Kacchan?"
I looked back at him. His entire body was trembling and he was looking over at the top of the mound of rubble on the east side. I looked aswell.
Three heroes were up there. One in all black with some grey, One in black with canary yellow hair and one black and white with purple hair. They were shifting the rubble, trying to get someone out. There was shouting from the yellow haired one, calling over some more rescue heroes.
Kats: "Deku.. I think.. I think-"
His voice cut out in a sob, the sound piercing into me.
Kacchan never cried..
The last time Kacchan had cried was when his quirk had accidently came out, hitting his mother. He felt terrible hurting her, crying hard as he appologised.
Mother..
Mum?!
I looked frantically around, trying to spot her. There wasn't any green at all. My breathing became sharper. The yellow canary man was still shouting, his voice carrying.
Canary man: "- Get a medical hero over here! There three people down here! Get a rescue hero here aswell, they are all trapped and we can't move the rubble!"
People swarmed over, two people climbing to the top. One started to lift the rubble, the other making it disappear into a black hole.
Kats: "I- I think I'm gonna throw up..-"
Kacchan crouched down, clutching his sides, his entire body trembling. I couldn't look away from the heroes. They had managed to pull someone out. They had brown hair and black glasses..
It looked like Uncle Masaru..
^Leave.. I need to leave.. I can't let Kacchan see this..^
Canary man: "He isn't breathing! He needs medical attention now!"
