The Four Clans // Silentsea's Secret

Chapter VII

At Sundown the two had made enought freshkill for the day and decided to carry it back to the camp. As silentpaw pushed herself through the entrance she spotted her Sister Stormpaw and her best friend Lightpaw. She hurried to the Fresh kill pile and put her pray down before heading to the two Apprentice. "Hello Silentpaw" Stormpaw greeted her while Lightpaw Flicked her tail, welcoming her. Silentpaw nodded and sat next to Lightpaw who she shared tongues with while Stormpaw looked over the clearing and spotted Willowtail who was watching the cats Walks around camp. "Ill go and say Hi to Willowtail" She meowed before getting up and walking over to her Fostermother. 

Sparrowleap sat near a shady place under a rockpile and was watching Silentpaw while be cleaned his fur. Lightpaw nudged her friend and slightly motioned to Sparrowleap. A soft purr appreared in her throat. "Him? what about him?" Silentpaw asked. Sometimes she could understand her friend pretty well but at times like this she barely could. Lightpaw rolled her eyes and continued cleaning silentpaws head.

As the moon started to rise the apprentice went to their den to get some rest. In the middle of the night a Beige head pushed itself through the leafes. "Silentpaw." a soft voice called out, waking the young tabby. "Yes?" She looked up to see the Kind face of the shecat who nurced her. "Willowtail? do you need something?" She asked. "Yes. id like to have a word with you dear. follow me." She then turned to leave. The brown tabby got up carefully and followed the elderly cat. The Beige shecat made her way to the exit of the camp. She gave Ravenheart a Smal nod before leaving having Silentpaw following right behind her.

"Silentpaw. how was your hunt with Sparrowleap." Willowtail asked while she sat down. Silentpaw tilted her head. "Why did you wake me in the middle of the night just to ask me this?" She asked. Willowtail purred in amusment. "Ofc not my little one. I just Noticed he has his eyes on you." she smiled. "What?! but hes A warrior. im an Apprentice." she stated. "Oh i know that My dear but A cat can fall in love with an Apprentice. And hes only a few Moons older then you."
Silentpaw rolled her eyes. "Im not interrested in having a Mate mother. I want to be a strong warrior. fighting for my clan. and not be trapped in the Nurcery." She got up.
Willowtail sighed but followed Her Once Kit back to the camp. 

A few Moons had passed since their Conversation and Leaffall neared. Stormpaw stepped out onto the clearing. A cold wind hit her in the face and she Fluffed her fur up to keep her warm. "The Weather keeps getting colder. I dont Like Leaf-bare." She complained.
Lynxpaw and Lightpaw stepped into the clearing a few Heartbeats later. Lightpaw breathed in the cool air. "Better get Used to it Stormpaw. it will take a few Moons till its Newleaf again." Lynxpaw purred in amusement. 

"Lynxpaw! Stormpaw! Puddlepaw!" A Yellowbrown Tom walked over while the Brown tom Pushed himself through the Leafs. "Greetings Hawkear." He greeted the Warrior. "I need you three to Gather some Moss for the Nests. We need it warm for Leafbare." His voice was deep and firm. Lynxpaw nodded. "Do our mentors know what we are going?" Stormpaw asked and Hawkear nodded. Then with a snap of his tail he send them off. Not soon after Silentpaw Joined Lightpaw outside the den, there they waited for their mentors. 

A few Heartbeats later Roseleaf and Iceflower appeared. They greeted each other and went on Patrol around the Stormclan Border. Slowly they walked alongside it Occasionally setting new Marks here and there. As they finished their Patrol they went back. Halfway through the forest they Decided to go hunting. Lightpaw went beside Silentpaw as Always went they hunted. Lightpaw siddenly fell into a lower position. Silentpaw followed her movements and soon they spotted A rabit. "Woah this once is giant." She whispered. Then her ears perked up and she turned around to spot Roseleaf behind a tree watching them, Lightpaw didnt seem to notice her mentor and sneaked closer to the rabit, Silentpaw followed her. As they were close enought they attacked. The rabit put up a little fight but soon the two shecats had taken him down.  Lightpaw proudly carried the Dead Rabit while silentpaw cought some more pray. 

On their way back they met back up with their mentors. Roseleaf looked proud at her Apprentice. "Lets get back to the camp." She said and lead the patrol back. As they pushed through the Sandy tunnel, Sparrowleap approached the group. "Hello Silentpaw" he smiled and walked with her. Silentpaw nodded as a greeting and went with her friend to the freshkill pile to put down the dead animals. Lightpaw snipped with her tail saying goodbye and left leaving silentpaw alone with Sparrowleap. The Tom flicked his tail around. "I know a good place to sunbathe...you" He hassitated. "Do you wanna come?" Silentpaw looked at him then meowed. "yea sure i could use some rest after that Patrol" She smiled and they went to the Camp entrance. 

Silentpaw looked back and saw her friend Lightpaw and the Feline who raised her sitting next to each other sharing tongues, Willowtail turned her head to look at her and smiled. Silentpaw then continued following Sparrowleap out to the beach to sunbathe. Sparrowleap let himself fall onto the Semi-warm sand. Silentpaw layed down near him, the warm sand under her pelt. "ah...this is exactly the right thing in this cold weather" She purred. Sparrowleap looked at her with loving eyes.
