The Four Clans // Silentsea's Secret

Chapter VIII

Around Sundown Silentpaw and Sparrowleap stepped though the Sand tunnel into the Camp. Some cats were still up and sharing tongues, some were already in their bed. "It was nice sunbathing with you Sparrowleap" Silentpaw Meowed. Sparrowleap answered with a pur. Sparrowleap gave her a quick lick over the Felines ear before they parted ways. 
As sparrowleap entered the warriors den  Willowtail approached him. "Come sit with me will you?" She meowed and waved him over with her tail. The tom went over to her and sat down. 
"I know whats going on with you and Silentpaw. you like her dont you?" She purred,

Sparrowleap tensed up. "How did you know?" he gasped. The Mainecoone purred in amusement. "Its Obvious dear. but maybe wait till she becomes a warrior" 
Sparrowleap nodded and got up. "Get some sleep now" She purred and curled up.
The tom went to his own moss bed and curled up placing his head on his paws looking up though the beach rye at the Silverpelt in the sky. After some time he curled himself up fully, laying his tail over his snout and closing his eyes.

In the Apprentice den silentpaw was curled up next to Lightpaw, while Lynxpaw layed near the Sandstone wall and Stormpaw layed next to Maipaw.  Since the weather had gotten colder the Apprentices snuggled closer to each other and stayed like that till the sunrise.

At sunrise Falconear and Roseleaf stuck their head though the Grass covered entrance. "Lynxpaw. Lightpaw wake up. we are going on morning patrol." Roseleaf called softly out to them. Lynxpaw jumped up in exitment and stormed out while Lightpaw lifted her head slowly and then got up to follow. "Today we wont only go on patrol. you two are going without us. we will supervise two" Falconear meowed raspy. "Wait. Are we getting our Warrior cerrimony soon?!" Lynxpaw exclaimed exitedly while her tail wagged. 

Roseleaf nodded and Lightpaw jumped with happiness. Falconear flicked with his tail, that they were leaving. At the Forest border Falconear and Roseleaf left their apprentices and were superviseing them from afar.
Lynxpaw and lightpaw seperated and went on hunting and patrol. As they returned to the Edge of the Forest they had lots of pray. their Mentors already awaited them. Together they went back to the camp and Falconear and Roseleaf went to the leaders den.
"Daisystar?" Falconear called out to his leader. "Come in." her calm voice echoed though the cave. Roseleaf and falconear stepped into the den 

"So~ What do my fellow classmates need?" The Leader sat up placing her tail over her paws.
"We came to talk to you about Lynxpaw and Lightpaw." Roseleaf spoke. "Correct. they have worked hard and became strong Cats." Falconear continued.
Daisystar looked at them one by one. "Your  saying they are ready to become Warriors?" She asked softly. Roseleaf and Falconear nodded.
Daisystar nodded. "Then so be it. At sundown we will hold their Ceremony.." She meowed solemnly. "Tell your apprentices to get themself ready" After that she send them out. 

After Falconear and Roseleaf had left, Ravenheart stuck his head into the leaders den. "Daisystar?", he mewed before stepping in to talk with her.

Roseleaf went to the Apprentice den to spread the news. Lynxpaw was overcome with Joy and so was Lightpaw. "Im so happy for you!" Silentpaw chirped and rubbed her head against her best friends. Lightpaw purred loudly. "You guys need to eat something and then groom before the ceremony" maypaw meowed while licking her paws clean. Lightpaw nodded and went with silentpaw and Lynxpaw to the freshkill pile. Lynxpaw grabbed a Fish, while Lightpaw and Silentpaw shared a Seagull.

After they were done with their food they burried the bones and sat in the front of the Apprentice den to share tongues. "I wonder what my warrior name is gonna be" Lynxpaw asked out loudly, while she kept on whiping her wet paw over her ear. "We could guess" Silentpaw joked and Lightpaw chuckled. Lynxpaw purred ammussed. "I think we should let Daistystar decide i dont want to fixate on one name and get a different one." she sighed and went back to licking her coat clean and smooth. 

Right before sundown Daisystar jumped up onto the Highrock. "May all Cats old enought to cats their own pray gather here beneath the highrock for a clanmeeting!" her voice echoed through the clearing. Slowly cats emerged from the warrior den and Apprentice den. From the Medicin den Brightface and Mosspaw stuck their heads out before walking over and settling down near the highrock. Smokepelt sat down on a smal rock next to the highrock, wrapping his tail over his paws. After all cats had sattled down Daisystar spoke up. "Tonight we will hold a Warrior Ceremony for our Three oldest Apprentices." Her eyes wandered over her fellow clanmates. "Falconear. Roseleaf and Ravenheart. please step foreward with your apprentices." She meowed.

Lightpaw, Lynxpaw and Timberpaw got up and followed their mentors into the clearing infront of the highrock. "Falconear, Roseleaf and Ravenheart tested their Apprentices in their hunting and fighting skills. They find them ready to become propper warriors of Coveclan." She jumped down from the highrock and approached Lynxpaw. "I, Daisystar, Leader of Coveclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down at this Apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, And i commend them to you as a warrior in their turn." she spoke. 
"Lynxpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protact your clan till your last breath?" she asked looking down at the  tortoiseshell she-cat.

"I do." she said and held her head up straight. "Then. With the power given to my by starclan i give you your warrior name, Lynxpaw. From this moment on your name will be known as Lynxfall. Starclan honers your swiftness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Coveclan." She ended her speach and held her nose to the new warriors head. Lynxfall licked her Leaders shoulder. The clan Called out the news warriors name. After the clan had settled Daisystar raised her voice. "Lightpaw. step forward." Lightpaw stepped into the clearing and looked up at her Leader. Daisystar smiled and the raised her head up to the sky. "I, Daisystar, Leader of coveclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down at this Apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, And i commend them to you as a warrior in their turn."

She then turned to look at Lightpaw. "Lightpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protact your clan till your last breath?" She asked looking at the young lightbrown Ragdol shecat infront of her. Lightpaw Nodded, her eyes sparkling brighter then the stars. Daisystar nodded and began to speak again. "Then. with the power given to my by starclan i give you your warrior name, Lightpaw. From this moment on your name will be known as Lightwhisker. Starclan honers your knowledge, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Coveclan." She placed her nose on the young warriors head while Lightwhisker licked her shoulder. 

"Lastly. Timberpaw step foreward." She looked at the Tortoiseshell Tom.
The leader then raised her head to look at the sky. "I Daisystar, Leader of Coveclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down at this apprentice. They have trained hard under Ravenheart to understand the ways of your noble code, and i command them to you, as a warrior in their turn." She looked down at Timberpaw. "Timberpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect your clan with your life?" She asked. Timberpaw looked up, smiling wide and happy. "I promise."

"Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Timberpaw, from this moment on your name will be Timberstrike. Starclan Honors your Strength and Honesty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Coveclan." When she finished she layed her nose on the toms head.

"Lightwhisker! Lynxfall! Timberstrike!" The clan cats called out their new names, Stormpaw calling out timberstrikes name the loudest. "Tonight you two will sit a silent vigil guarding till sunrise." Daisystar said. then she send her clan back to their Nests while Lightwhisker, Timberstrike and Lynxfall held their Vigil.
