They pick eight large furs and trade for 5 jars of honey, 2 sacks of sugar and a batch of arrows, you smile and roll the furs picked up and tie with a leather cord, two rush off and come back with the items traded you look at the honey and nearly weep "I hadn't even come across a hive, I was beginning to wonder if I would find this again" shaking their heads.

Placing them away you find the fruit and take a few then asking "do you know what these are?" they take the fruit and look at it then taste and blink "oh, they are thought to be extinct, not sure of the name" you nod "okay I will add grabbing a tree when I come back to plant on the mountain along with the local flora".

They look at you "so you are going to add the plants and animals found in other places to the mountain and create a miss mash of countries?" you think then nod "we need to eat, the animals need to eat. Grab what's edible from each place. I already have plants from different places all food based" they look on your roof and chuckle.

You hesitate and ask "how you getting there and what will you be living in?" they all smirk as the tallest says "we have vehicles and caravans" you look at them in disbelief "how? Wow, nice. I wouldn't trade my babies though" they look at your companions and nod with a smile "so animals and the vegetables are a must?" you nod "other things like in that shop there was condiments that hadn't been touched and in good condition".

Confused by this as you said it, hearing "it's because people died in there?" you look and say "people have died all over the world in different places if we worried about that we would never eat" he gasped and chuckled "I ain't eating them, I just want to survive with nice food" nodding "we will clear the places here before we go".

Smiling then frowning "don't go in the standing building at the end of this block, it is quite rank and I believe someone has eaten human flesh, the bodies were filleted" all four look at you then the body burning "you think someone has already started to eat human flesh?" you sigh "I know some have, in my country at least. So yes I expect some have already started" they pale.

Glancing at the body "so burn the human bodies, it's the last bit of respect" cringing but nodding "I will be here until the rain stops, would you like to join us for food tomorrow evening?" they smile and thank you as they grab the furs and rush back to their area, you watch them and giggle quietly "you would of liked them".

Retiring for the night you crawl into the tent and drop to sleep as you plan where to look tomorrow, they get back and place the furs in the vans then the leader says "it seems they are actually female" the other three nod "done a good job of hiding from a distance" agreement from the other three.

Asking "you sure Boss?" he nods "they hunt, they don't seem greedy for others things, are willing to resource their own food but are willing to trade goods for what they want. If it does happen we will also have a pretty good life. We can get clothes, food and have a safe area to live if it doesn't" the brothers look at each other then the Boss "we are happy to go, a safe place is the best. We will even learn to farm".

The Boss laughs then nods "yes, it seems we are to have food crops growing on the mountain it's a great idea to fill it with what will be needed and make it renewable. We should see if we can also find a few more horses and domestic animals" two frown as the third says "breeding the pets?" a nod.

The morning came with the gloom of the rain sighing you empty the buckets then get ready to go out, wearing your gear placing the coat on dog "look after the area" you give them a bone and leave pulling the cart, dog lending you finding a few building still standing you go in and grab bits you want or need as you move on you feel yourself being followed.

Stopping in an ally and waiting a body walks past you watch them and frown then stepping quietly behind them and say "you should watch your back" and step back as they turn and make eye contact then chuckle as you grin "your lucky I recognised you" he raised a brow as you grab your cart "so what do I owe the pleasure of being stalked?" he giggles "I just saw you out and wanted to know how aware you are?".

Eyeing him "very" and you spin notching and arrow and letting it fly a short scream as dog comes from behind them with a doggy grin, patting him and giving loves then checking the body you take what's useful and move the body finding a flammable and lighting it then leaving and looking at the man.

He blinks and nods "we wondered how you managed to live so long?" you laugh "I had a guardian for the first year and half, they became someone's meal and I became harder and learnt to survive alone" he grimace and said "sorry Hunny" you look up and shrug "such is this life, he would of liked the four of you" you then walk to the next place.

The man stood in the rain and watched you go feeling a bit guilty for bringing up a dark past, then closed his eyes and caught up to you and says "so all the places you have been in good picking?" laughing "not bad I will give you the names of the good ones" walking and checking places with an escort you chuckle.
