As you reached the wooded area the earth shook you frown and wobble you all sit or lay down as you feel sick and hold your ears at the noise it makes, when it stopped you threw up and felt disoriented, staying down until you feel a little cold nose touch yours smiling as you kiss them and stand up.

Going in you see a few trees downed so you grab the ones you could and place them on the cart, at the river you frown and grab a few buckets worth of water along with the fish you could see staring at the water level as your sure it had decreased, frowning but leaving the river collecting as you go back.

Cart full you make it back and place the wet wood on the far side as you see a few animals in here cuddled together you place some straw down for then and grab the hay and put that over, filling the water and preserving the fish caught, you make a large fish stew and a meat stew for dog feeding some veg to the others.

As you had finished the food you felt the ground move again this time more violently, laying on the ground and swallowing to stop the sickness, closing your eyes as your ears ring, sitting up slowly when it ends then groan and say "I am going to try and sleep" stumbling into the caravan and falling into bed.

Winter seemed to last forever, you spent most of the time in the barn staying warm, only going out if you needed to get water or wood, dog and cat went out and brought back meat if they could find it, the earthquakes happened frequently and violently at least twice a day throughout the cold weather.

As you had counted at the end of the third month of snow you woke up feeling a bit warmer, looking to the other side you notice that the animals were packed in, placing some more hay down for them as you take a look outside to see that the snow still covered the ground but the air didn't have that bite that you felt down to your soul.

Walking out and scanning the area you jerk as you see something impossible, wiping your eyes you look again and nod "okay, I don't remember a mountain that close to us before" the earth shakes you sit and gag at the movement as you look up after and see that the mountain seemed closer.

Looking down then shaking your head, you get ready to venture out taking horse and the cart you walk towards the river and see it is more like a stream now and look towards the other mountain and laugh off your thoughts, filling the buckets and gathering the wood found laying around also seeing fresh snow you place that in the containers for the water trough.

Everyday got warmer but you couldn't help but frown at how the mountain seemed to be closer everyday, when the snow finally melted you came out and stared at the mountain which seemed to be on top of you walking towards the edge nearest the new mountain you frowned.

Looking over you saw trees and animals but you were sure you didn't have those animals in your country, so looking down you decide to wait out the earthquakes here for now as you had a sinking feeling you or the other mountain had moved and you were now in a new country, laughter turned hysterical as that thought cements into your brain.

Starting to refill your supplies as spring blooms, you kill a cow and a few sheep for their meat and hides thankful for their sacrifice as you preserve the meat hanging it about and checking what wood you had left cutting down the trees you had resourced over winter, you still had the earthquakes but they were happening every few days.

Wood stores were full, you decide to leave the first trailer here and grabbed a second cow to pull the second cart, having a small list of wants when you finally go back to traveling, over the cold months you had made a bow and wooden arrows they were rudementry at most, you decided to give it a test the trailer was placed further away with a piece of wood on it.

Standing a good distance away you notch the arrow and pull the string back them aiming you let the string go and watch as it flies but missed the target you chuckle, doing the next one you still missed but hit the trailer, taking a breath you try for a third then change the way you aim and go again, glancing off the wood this time.

Spending a good few hours until you hit the target 4 out of 10 times then collecting your arrows and checking them over for damage, seeing about 10 were damaged, you check around and bring the trailer back to the barn, making food for you all as you see that the plants seem to be recovering from the winter.

As the food cooks you make more arrows and add them to the made quiver, filling it up and placing the spares in a piece of hide you pop them away and serve food for you all, you practiced for a week you could now hit a stationary target about 80% of the time, it had been a week without an earthquake so you double checked your supplies.

Ready to leave you say "I am going to make for that mountain first some unusual animals which I know are edible" spending your last night here then up with the sun you pack up the spare hay had been placed on the roof and covered, the straw you took what you could on the second cart, the cows were harnessed to it then tied to the caravan, sitting in your seat you flick the reins.

Steering down the mountain path allowing them to go at their own speed, it was quicker going down so you tuned the way of the next mountain and scanned the surroundings as you go, wearing your knife and the bow and quiver at your side, going around the side as you checked the flora and fauna.
