⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️
(Suicide)

Cold water hit his shoulders.

Warm wind cast his face.

Black scythe slit his wrist.

A white cloth covered his body.

He rose up from a slumber in the light.

The tight embrace shook him awake.

Dry atmosphere filled his lungs like iron bars.

His frail legs could not keep him standing.

In the dark, his eyes adjusted and saw the moonlight.

He reached out to it.

The need to follow it chewed him, but the moon only stretched further away.

The moonlight loosened it's touch and he fell down.

Now, there was no longer anything to guide him back.

Only the shine from within could lead his way.

Looking into his heart, he saw it was not beating.

He rummaged through his memories and tried to bring it oxygen, but there was no air to breathe.

A cure for life and in death.

Love that raced faster than wild horses, and even faster than birds with the wind, but it was just as slow as a dolphin in the sea on no journey, only there for the experience.

He grabbed the potion and swallowed it whole.

Nothing happened, but a small twinkle sparkled from within.

Next trial, he took an antidote.

The light flickered away and became only gloom and saddness.

He figured he was stuck.

It was only poison and not a solution.

There was only one fix that was in his reach.

A mirror reflecting only his soul echoed in his thoughts.

He looked into the mirror and saw his resilience, his kindness, and care.

The things that had been expelled from his thoughts.

His belief in himself had diminished to only a blank little dime before.

Instead of expanding the dime, he threw it down his throat and choked.

Only now, he could see the dime as a dimond.

He sparkled in the light as the colors reflected off of him.

He reached over the cloth, soaking up his blood, and pulled it down.

He stood up and reached his hand out to the mother in front of him to lead her way without pain.
