as two lights
shining in the sky,
sitting side by side
glowing brighter
than the universe
surrounding us.
We'll bring them light.
We'll listen to their cries.
We'll bring them peace
when there is nothing but war.
We'll make them free.
When we are joined by more stars, we can combine our fire to burn their troubled times
into the brighter light
that exceeds our own existence.
