"What do you mean...?" I ask. "I did it because I thought I would have more power over everyone." Draco pauses. "But I didn't realize I would feel this guilty about hurting you, Y/n."
I look up and Draco and see him gazing at the window as the rain falls onto the glass. "Why would you feel bad? It's me who told you." Draco smiles softly and chuckles to himself. "I made you tell me. It's not your fault."
A moment of silence passes until I speak up. "Strange..." Draco raises an eyebrow. "What?" "You. You feel bad. That's not normal for you." I stated. "Don't get used to it, Potter."
My eyes snap over to the door as Delilah bursts through the door. She pauses as she sees me and Draco together and she scoffs. "Of coarse." She mutters. "Lilah, please." I try to walk up to her and apologize but once again she doesn't accept it.
Delilah starts grabbing her stuff to I assume stay in Blaise's dorm but then she stops and looks at me. "You know what? You leave. Spend the night with Draco. You seem to love telling him secrets anyway." "Lilah, I'm not spending the night with Draco-" I protest.
"Blaise is staying in here with me so just do it. Please, Y/n. I don't want to hear how sorry you are." She declares. Blaise then enters our dorm and before walking past me he mouths "Sorry."
Delilah shuts the door in my face locking me out and I hear Blaise trying to talk to her but she still doesn't accept it. I look up at Draco and scoff. "Whatever. I'll just sleep out here." Draco looks away and just goes back to his dorm.
...
In the middle of the night I wake up due to the nightmares and visions in my head. I look over at the fireplace crackling and sigh about the decision I'm about to make.
I walk up to the boy's dormitories and knock on Draco's door. No answer. He must be asleep. I knock again a bit louder and wait a moment before Draco opens the door. His hair messy, all over his face and his voice is deeper than usual since he probably just woke up.
"Changed your mind?" He smirks. "No. Just cold out there." I admit. Draco lets me into his dorm and he walks over to Blaise's bed. "You can have my bed." He says as he tosses me an extra blanket.
What? Why is he being like this? I stare at the blanket for a moment not realizing I look like a statue standing still lost in my thoughts. "Y/n?" Draco whispers. I look up and realize that I'm just standing still. "Oh, yeah.. Thanks."
I toss and turn in my sleep unable to get images and flashbacks of Voldemort in the graveyard out of my head. I wake up suddenly as I feel someone shaking my arm. "Y/n are you okay?" Draco asks.
I look up at him breathing heavily from the dream. "Y-yeah..." I lie. "I just have bad nightmares..." I finish. "Alright..." Draco goes back to Blaise's bed and I stare at the ceiling for a moment.
"Draco...?" I whisper. "Yeah, Potter?" He whispers back. I take a deep breath before asking him something that sounds insane. "Can you just sleep here?" I ask avoiding eye contact. Draco stares in disbelief and he thinks for a moment.
"Yeah..." He says as he gets up. He lays down on the other side of the bed of me. Our arms brush lightly against each other since this is only a single bed.
I sigh before turning onto my side with my back facing him and I fall back asleep quite quickly.
In the morning I wake up feeling an arm around my waist. Draco. I feel his torso pressed against my back I slowly sit up. I look down at him and he's still asleep. I don't think he knew his arm was around me.
