Chapter 21

New York, July 3, 2024.

Scarlett POV

It's been a couple of days since Andy and I saw each other and definitely  I haven't been able to stop thinking about her since our "meeting".

It's not that I didn't do it before, but now I feel like it's different.

Now I want to know what she does at every moment, if she ate, if she slept well, I want to know everything.

"Ug" I said, stretching out in my desk chair while running my hands over my face "I'm really screwed"

While I was thinking about the woman who was in my head 24/7 I heard my phone ring.

I took it without interest, but that changed when I saw the notification.

*Message Notification*

Andy😍:

 Hey, I'm downstairs and I brought you lunch.

I smiled as hard as I could when I read her message.

Instead of writing to her, I picked up the phone in my office and I told the receptionist to tell Andy to come up to my office.

I quickly got up from my desk, went to my private bathroom and got ready.

"Mmm, two will be fine" I said, opening the buttons of my blouse.

I fixed my hair and when I came out of the bathroom I felt a soft knock on my door.

"Hey, Kate" I heard Andy say as I opened the door.

"Hi, Andy" My friend replied "Your nose looks much better. Scar, I'm going out and I'll be back in a bit"

"Okay" I said with a smile.

"Have a good time" Kate said again, winking at me which made me blush.

When she disappeared from our sight, Andy turned to me and smiled.

"Hi, beautiful" She said, leaning down to kiss my cheek.

"Hi" I said nervously "Come in"

Andy walked into my office and I closed the door behind us.

"What is the reason for this surprise?" I asked trying to contain my excitement.

"I was walking near here and decided to stop by to try my luck" She answered, making me laugh.

Andy left the food on the coffee table in my office, she approached me and put her hands on my hips while I placed mine on the back of her neck.

"Wow, how lucky you are" I said, leaning down to kiss her softly.

When we both separated we couldn't help but smile.

"Do you want to eat?" Andy asked and I gave her a flirtatious smile "Food, Scarlett"

"Party pooper" I said, pouting.

Andy took my hand and we both sat on the couch.

"Is Chinese food good?" She asked opening one of the boxes.

"I love it" I replied taking some chopsticks "Kate was right"

"About what?" Andy asked, bringing some rice to her mouth.

"Your nose looks a little better" I answered, bringing my hand to her cheek "It's less swollen"

"That's good" She said after eating.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked worried.

"A little" She answered, giving me a small smile "Yesterday it hurt more but it was because Lili hit me with her little hand"
