"Thank you." You told the guards as they helped you over to the spot near the stage where Taylor usually takes a moment to give one lucky swiftie the 22 hat.

Despite you standing here now and the surprise for her that you have up your sleeve, you made sure to let Taylor's crew know that you didn't want to take that opportunity away from someone so after you ask Taylor a very important question, one lucky fan will still be able to have that experience.

Your hands are shaking as you carefully pull the velvet box out of your pocket.

You've gone over so many ways that you could ask the love of your life to marry you but this one kept coming back to you and was how you wanted to pop the question to Taylor.

It was almost time to gather your thoughts and ask Taylor to spend forever with you and the closer it gets, the more nervous you feel.

But you know Taylor better than anyone else in the world and you know that there's no way on earth she'd ever say no to this, especially since you've talked about it so much and she always tells you how much she wants to marry you someday.

You tried to keep anyone from seeing the ring before Taylor because you feared that someone might see and freak out and spoil the surprise you've worked so hard on keeping from her despite the many times you've wanted to just scream the four words to her out of excitement and impatience.

But it was all going to be worth it now.

As Taylor stepped closer to the edge of the stage, she expected to see another fan waiting for her to give them the 22 hat and make their dreams come true.

But when she got in front of you, she stopped singing as a loud gasp left her lips as you opened the velvet box and held the ring out for her.

It was the ring of her dreams.

You had it made special because none of the rings you saw seemed as perfect as her.

She deserves the world and you want to give her just that.

Starting by giving her a breathtakingly beautiful engagement ring, one almost as perfect as her, was the best start to it all.

Kneeling on the stage in front of you, the fans were cheering louder than they ever have before as you were shown on the big screens in the stadium proposing to Taylor.

"Baby, are you serious!?" She asked as she grinned from ear to ear.

"I'm more serious than I have ever been in all my life, my love. I've been thinking of how to ask you this question for weeks and this seemed like the perfect way to do it. I love you so much, Taylor. Will you marry me?"

By now, all eyes were on the two of you.

The music had stopped, the dancers froze on stage, and everyone was either smiling or cheering loudly as they watched the beautiful loving moment unfold right in front of their eyes.

"Yes!"

The crowd went wild, the cheers even louder than before, and all you could do was stare at her in awe as it sank in that she'd said yes.

"Of course I'll marry you!"

Tears filled your eyes because you were so overwhelmed with love and happiness.

The thought of spending forever with Taylor was a dream come true and has been for so long.

She's your everything and you couldn't believe that it was finally happening - you and Taylor were officially engaged.

As you took the ring out of the box and slid it on her finger with your shaky ones, Taylor let a tear fall from her eyes even though her smile had never been bigger.

"It's beautiful." She said as she stared at the ring on her finger.

"I had it specially designed for you, darling. I wanted it to be perfect."

"It is." She assured as she cupped your cheeks gently. "It would've been perfect regardless because it's you asking me to marry you."

She leaned forward and kissed you softly as everyone clapped and cheered for you both.

"I love you so much." She spoke against your lips before picking her mic up from beside her. "I didn't expect to get engaged tonight but I'm not complaining at all. What a dream come true!"

You laughed and she kissed your hand lovingly before you stepped aside for the fan to come up and get the 22 hat.

After the heartwarming moment of her taking a moment to be with them and give her hat away, she showed off her ring to everyone as she purposely tucked a lock of damp hair behind her ear.

"I love you." She mouthed to you.

You blew her a kiss before going back to your seat in the front row, unable to keep the smile off of your face the more you saw the ring on her finger and realized that she was officially your fiancee.

Dreams truly do come true and you hope to make all of hers come true just as she has yours for the rest of your lives.
