You were standing around your friends as you poured more alcohol into your cup.

Laughter left your lips as you all talked about whatever and enjoyed some time hanging out together after a long busy week.

However, you stopped laughing as you felt Taylor wrap her arms around you as she hugged you from behind.

You were only a little tipsy but everyone else seemed pretty drunk, your girlfriend included.

You smiled from ear to ear as Taylor's soft lips brushed against your neck and your friends were quick to coo at the sight.

"Hi," She mumbled before pouting a little.

"Hi, baby. Are you alright?"

As she kissed your cheek, you could smell the alcohol on her breath.

It wasn't surprising that she'd been drinking because that's what everyone's been doing tonight, not excessively but just for fun and to let loose.

But it began to add up for you because Taylor tends to get pretty clingy with you when she's drunk, even more so than usual.

"Can we cuddle?" She spoke against your skin.

"Sure, my love,"

You took her hand and grabbed your cup with the other before leading her to the living room of your friend's house.

It was a little loud from the voices at the party as well as the music blasting through the speakers.

But it wasn't that bothersome, especially not when you could block it all out when you had Taylor so close to you.

As you sat down on the couch, she sat on your lap before snuggling up to you.

She was so clingy, it made your heart swell.

Putting her cheek on your shoulder, she hugged you tight and closed her eyes as a little smile tugged at her kissable lips as you brushed your fingers through her hair.

"Are you okay, Tay? Do you want to head home? You seem a little tired."

"I'm not tired. I just love holding you and being close to you." She drunkenly mumbled.

You kissed her forehead softly and she tightened her grip on you as her smile grew a little.

"I love it too, baby. Almost as much as I love you."

"I love you too."

"I love you even more." You playfully argued.

"Impossible. I love you the most." She drunkenly smiled and looked at you with a gleam in her blue eyes.

Oh, how you love her eyes.

"You're so pretty." You whispered before kissing her forehead again.

She giggled happily and the sound was so infectious that it just made your heart melt.

You kissed her forehead a few more times and she laughed happily.

"Please never let me go." She whispered against your neck as she buried her face there, breathing in the scent of your perfume that lingered on your skin.

"Don't worry, baby. I won't ever let you go, I promise."

Your lips brushed lovingly against her forehead again and again and since she's a sucker for you kissing her forehead, she just hummed and smiled against your soft skin.

Your kisses make her feel safe and loved and something about them on her forehead brings her the most happiness.

You stared at her lovingly as you kept your arms wrapped around her, both that and your lips on her skin making her feel warm.

"We can go soon if you want to. I know that you're drunk."

"I'm not that drunk."

While that might be a lie for most people, you could see in her eyes that she genuinely wasn't that intoxicated, though the alcohol did linger on her breath and rushed through her veins a little.

"I'm fine, I promise. It's only one am. Let's stay like this for a while. I don't mind staying at this party for a little longer if it means I get to cuddle with you like this."

You kissed her forehead again and smiled against it, knowing that you felt the same way.

"Okay. I love you,"

"I love you too." She whispered as she snuggled a little closer to you, happy to stay just like this for a long while.
