You've known Lynn Loud Jr. almost all of your life, well for as long as you'd lived next door to her. It was a complete opposites attract situation between you.Being the only child still at home, you're left alone a lot. This leading to why you'd basically based your whole existence off your academic performance. Your parents had their own real estate business and your only brother had moved out almost eight years ago. It's not that your family was unloving or anything, they were just busy people. So, you felt like the only way to get the attention you thrived for was to excel in your classes. Even though you were almost always alone, you never failed at making friends.
That was until Lynn Loud.
Lynn was the complete opposite of you. Where you were gifted in the academics field, that was where she struggled. Despite lacking the academic knowledge, she knew it all athletically. She played more than four sports like basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, hell you can't keep up anymore. She also had one of the biggest families ever growing up with ten sisters and a brother, which was crazy to you.
Another thing about Lynn, she wasn't the best at making friends. Her over the top competitive nature often scared those away, but never you.
That was part of the reason Lynn was so hesitant about you. You were one of the first people ever to not take Lynn's competitiveness personally. You were also one of the first people the Loud's had ever seen Lynn be semi gentle with. Despite your differences, you balanced each other out so well.
So when the quiet got too loud at your house, you knew exactly where you'd find yourself.
You decided to go to the Loud's because it was finally Saturday, but this one was special. Lynn finally didn't have a game or practice for any sport today. You hadn't been able to hang out in almost two weeks, which was the longest you'd ever gone without seeing each other, since she was so busy with hockey.
Before you begin getting ready to leave your house, you shoot Lynn a quick text.

When you're getting ready all you're thinking about is Lynn. You've been thinking about her more than usual lately and everytime you do you get this fluttery feeling in your chest. You try to ignore it because it also immediately causes your chest to tighten in fear of possibly catching feelings for your best friend.
